@scoopman, @Mike G, and so many I've missed Thank You.

I did 15 modules today from a standing start in ~3 hours. The dealer offered to do the HVAC update when I did the 20K checkup... but said that was 4-5 hours... I declined having them do it. Sheesh including set up and take down that couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes.

Software in these cars changes everything,

again, Thank You.
just wait until we have a bluecruise lane-changing update -- I expect that will take 12 hours, those modules take forever....

Yeah, considering the random trickle of updates and my usual capability to miss them via OTA, my splurge for the year-long FDRS subscription seems more and more vindicated every month.

Guess we need to find someone that hasn't done the forscan mod and see what their as-built on ford shows.
I haven’t done the FORscan mod or the HCM update. Problem is I won’t have time to do the HCM update for several weeks. ?‍♂?

Completed programming updates for DCME, DCMF, DCMG, DCMH. Easy and fast, no issues with clearing DTC's all good there. I did notice in my list (attached) that the ACM was updated but it appears by the changes to the Door Control modules because there was no specific ACM update in the list that was completed!

I just went for it and got a year subscription, glad I did. I didn't expect these many updates so close together. Pretty scary if you have a vehicle that's never gets updates. I can imagine a lot of Mach-E's are that way. I know the dealerships won't go to this level of updates....NO WAY

I think it is so strange that Ford clearly has invested in engineers to fix bugs and improve their cars via software, but then doesn't distribute the software they write to the vast majority of cars.

Exactly. They fix the bugs but have no reliable and comprehensive method of distributing the improvements or enhancements.

Finally got a few mins to try out @Mike G 's second possible solution to clearing down my errant SOBDMC error. (after having previously tried a PMI and a return to As Built in FORScan)

As suggested went to the module specific testing section and did the "Run selected test", and it looked like it had worked - then it came back red ? So I cleared down one more time and it looked like it went green, but within 30 seconds it went orange again.

I'm at peace - I'll leave it orange for now - maybe a future module update will cure it :)

Thanks again for the suggestions and help.

I went in to FORSCAN today to enable the high beam ramp up mod and when I saw I had a DTC for the SOBDMC (but it wasn't currently active) I reset it and got on with the programming. I'll wait and see if it comes back. It doesn't appear to be affecting anything. car drives fine, no errors or messages on the IPC.

Do you show the IPC module available in FORScan? I want to try and enable my
power meter. Last time I tried I was missing a lot of modules and no IPC.

I didn't open the IPC module . But I did see a Power Meter option in the APIM. Now I realize that's not where you'd expect it to be, but there is a setting in the APIM for it. I didn't enable it.

Perhaps a little training on how to use FORSCAN? Maybe you have it somewhere else, and I haven't run across yet, thanks.

I actually have an even older laptop I use with FORSCAN and OBDLink MX+. But I have used the Mongoose cable with my FORSCAN laptop and does just fine..in fact it's 'overkill' really. They both work equally as well with FORSCAN.
