The Mach-E has been out for 5 years. There are many posts on this forum asking for simple additions or fixes that a junior developer can implement in 2 days. What has Ford done about this? NOTHING. Except screewing the position of the speedometer. Conversely, I observe on the French forums that the PRs of BYD or XPeng are present, answer questions and announce planned changes, some of which are in direct response from customers. Is it that complicated to do that? Not for a 21s century company, but certainly for Ford with its more-than-a-century-old-company mindset.

The fact that so many people are so butthurt about the position of the speedo cracks me up. Seems like the pettiest thing to complain about. Conversely though, if this is the biggest complaint someone has, I’d say the overall state of the Mach E is in pretty good shape.

No. Changes require involving module manufacturers and there are a few tonnes of code swapped back and forth multiple times before it can even be pushed to the internal beta fleet.

80 to 90% of folks don’t have an issue with the speed display. They can see it just fine. Only 10% or so have issues with where it’s located. Most folks really won’t care where ford puts it on the Ipc.

10% of owners can’t see all or most of the speed display while in a comfortable and proper driving position. I can adjust my seat to see it at all times but I’m limited to no more than 90 minutes of driving before I’m in serious pain.

They’ll be worth looking at when they arrive in late 2067. Whether they’ll be worth buying is another story.

And save it. Then it's 2 or 3 clicks and you're in Dog mode. However you have to just leave the car running and can't use remote start for that.
