Why Mach-E over Tesla & Others

At first, I checked VW ID4, but it's looks like 15k car, after was Ioniq 5, it's looks like 15k in 2042.
Then was Tesla Y, way more expensive and without a screen behind the sterling wheel. And finally it was the Mustang. It's looks the best, drives the best.
But now, I see the Auto Guide 2023 and Mach-E fiability ratings is very low. Maybe I made a wrong choise...

The simplest reason we bought an MME over anything else out there at the time was because it was the only EV out there that had a range of over 300 miles that wasn't from a guy named Musk.
At the time I ordered the car (some 2 years ago at this point), Teslas were definitely more expensive than the MME, especially the trim level I wanted. To be honest, the MME was out of my price range initially until I had a financial windfall that suddenly made the car more affordable/viable.
Nothing else I've seen come out since then matches the range of the MME and isn't from a guy named Musk and is affordable (less than $60K).

The following was my experience in a Tesla store with their sales representative. I have absolutely nothing but respect for almost every profession so this wasn't really anyone's fault but I just found the conversation a little funny so I am posting it here:
Me: I am in the market for our second car and while I don't want to limit my choices by going full EV, I am willing to consider Model Y. Do you have any on your lot for test driving / purchase?
Sales: We have two and we can let you go for a 30 min drive right away.
Me: That's awesome. Let's do it. Oh by the way, it has been a while since I have owned a Tesla. I keep hearing about removal of parking sensors and disabling radars and relying on cameras. What's up with that?
Sales: Yes, true. And I can tell you that the vision based system will be awesome in a few months / year.
Me: So it's not as awesome as USS + Radar was?
Sales: It's gonna be awesome.
Me: Ok, switching gears a little bit - I keep hearing that Tesla finally added emergency braking when reversing upon detecting an obstacle. I know that Tesla doesn't have a traditional rear cross traffic alert. Can you tell me how that works?
Sales: It should brake when reversing and it detects an obstacle.
Me: But it won't beep or alert you when you are about to hit the obstacle?
Sales: It should
Me: But it doesn't have sensors!
Sales: Yes, today it might back into something but Tesla Vision is gonna be awesome.
I really felt bad for the sales after this conversation. Took the test drive anyway.
Sitting in Y felt roomier and higher for sure, but not by much. The wireless charging space in the refreshed Model Y (post 2021) is amazing and I really wish Mach-E had something like that. Tesla screen is great but I honestly don't care anymore as my needs are just good sound system, decent navigation, and good call quality. I don't care for video games or fart noises. So, after Model 3, my wow factor is contained. Seats were just as comfortable.
Lastly, the drive. I drove the Long Range version and immediately realized how impeccable GT Performance Edition drives in comparison. Of course, Tesla's Performance Y will drive closer to the GT Performance Edition speed wise. But, despite that, Tesla felt much heavier, stiffer, and therefore less nimble. GT PE suspension just blows it out of the water.
Rearview mirror visibility in the Y was below average. Side mirrors were alright but better than my 2018 Model 3. The position of the center screen was awkward as my arm blocked part of that screen (may be a "me" problem) no matter how much I adjusted the seat.
And the Tesla Vision was an absolute disaster (I drove a 2023).
Not having a top view camera (despite the fact that mach e cameras are fairly low resolution and grainy at night) sucked. That said, the rear view camera quality in the Model Y (and the side repeaters) was better at night than the Mach E.
But in all fairness, the build quality of that Y was NIGHT AND DAY compared to 2019-2018 Model 3. I just don't want to buy a car that makes so many compromises in the features department just for that super charging network.
