The reply is not new "news" to Mach E owners. Anna still hasn't told us why only Mercedes has certified level 3 autonoums driving. We know why but will Anna admit such?

Have you seen anyone use mercedes level 3 system? It's nearly impossible to use because it requires driving on the interstate under 45mph with a lead car in only small parts of california and nevada. When you get on the highway at 45mph (which is actually illegal in some parts) the issue is that the faster traffic is moving too fast and you don't have a lead car allowing you to enable it.

Also no construction, no weather, no driving into sunset, etc. Only in perfect broad daylight which limits use going to work in the morning or leaving work at night.

The only way to 100% use the level 3 system would be to have a lead car at 45mph which drives in front of the mercedes the whole time.

Drive pilot is $2500 and I bet almost no one uses it daily because the restrictions are too great to even use it.

It's also worth mentioning that the mercedes system is an end of line product. Tesla's system is developed to expand into a larger domain then a level 3 system. This is why tesla is not wasting money developing a severely limited level 3 solution.

Try taking FSD onto one of our many (and increasing in number) roundabouts. That doesn’t end well.
FSD drives in roundabouts. It even drives in unmapped roundabouts.

FSD was driving in roundabouts before waymo was. Waymo was restricted to avoid roundabouts whereas tesla did a great job in similar roundabouts.

Anna still cannot answer or refuses to state why Tesla cannot met the level 3 certification of California and Neveda. This has nothing to do with Mercedes or their system. This Cyber Truck crash using the newest FSD software is telling. It has nothing to do with the worst road design ever or whatever one wants to create for a statement.

It doesn't matter how many times you post, Daddy Elon is still never going to give you the hug you so greatly desire and tell you he's proud of you.

Because level 3 requires developing a system which tesla does not have any intentions to do.

Level 3 is a completely different product than developing a level 4 system because it requires an extremely limited domain, with no scaling path to higher levels of autonomy. It's an end of line product that doesn't make financial sense.

Not according to 100% of my neighbors and acquaintances with FSD. It fails miserably.

Youre right, level 4 requires nothing when you don't disclose mandatory reporting data and then shut down gov investigations and then close the department. Yes we will have level 4 Tesla soon, accidents will soar, minions won't care.

Your pulling hairs in trying to fit a statement into why. The limited domain with no scaling path forward statement doesn't hold water.

Of course it does. How are you that ignorant to see that?

Level 3 systems do one thing only. Lane keep and cruise control with limited operating conditions. They are a party trick.

Beyond that it requires approval from every state in the US for this system to exist.

So the way that tesla FSD is designed is not the same as the way level 3 systems are designed. Building a variant of FSD that can operate in level 3 is a wasted effort when the car already does much more.

I suspect the amount of people willing to pay for a level 3 variant that requires sitting up, being attentive, and only running for a few minutes at a time every couple weeks is very little.

Counterpoint-

Tesla sucks
Elon is the devil
All their cars are ugly
They pay clowns to troll Internet forums trying to convince us otherwise

Counterpoint.

Model 3 refresh, model S, cybercab and tesla roadster look better than the mach e.

Mach e tries to look like something it's not with weird proportions

The only "ugly" tesla is the cybertruck and the other two (model Y/X) are average looking

mach e - GT is such a bottom tier EV that the top speed on it is embarrassingly slow compared to other performance focused EVs. A $35K base model 3 from 2018 goes faster than that

Ignorant? No. Anna continues to ignore something and that something does not induce an endpoint or wasted effort.

False on all accounts. Quit making up lies

I asked an AI chatbot that wasn’t working for Tesla and it agreed with me.

Mach e GT top speed is 114 or 124? What is it?

Model 3 top speed for the $35K base model, I guess I misremembered was 125mph. It was 145 for the dual motor.

By comparison:

ioniq 5n: 161mph

Kia ev6L 162mph

Model 3 peformance: 163mph

Model S plaid: 200mph

Lucid air sapphire: 207mph

Don't get me talking about charging speed where the mach e is 50% slower than the slowest EV here

And you can buy a brand new model Y performance for $36K in tesla inventory right now
