I went to lunch, and on my way back to the plant I decided to switch from fresh air to AC as it was getting dusty out. Put the windows up, kept driving. When I got to the plant, none of the buttons on the drivers door would work at all. Windows worked fine from other doors, but not from the drivers door. Turned the car off and back on, no effect. Got back to my parking lot and shit down complaining to myself that I am going to have to get up early tomorrow to go visit the service department again (I’ve been in for a couple minor issues). Went back out to the car about 5 minutes later, and everything seems to be working again. ?

Might want to edit that typo....

Nah. I said what I said. ?
Sit happens..

But referring to your window. Did you notice anything as if it were "trying" to move up or down, or just no response at all?

none of the windows would move, the power mirrors wouldn’t move, the mirrors wouldn’t fold in. Nothing would do anything from the drivers door. Makes me think there’s a loose connection somewhere.

Seems like it, either power to the switch, the switch itself, or power from the switch. The fact that it was intermittent and all components from one door makes me think it's power to the switches.

Yup happened to me once.

On my way back from a restaurant picking up food and nothing on the driver's armrest would work: windows, seat positions, mirror positions, etc.

Got home and went in to eat while I pondered what to do. After dinner car worked fine like nothing was wrong.

My guess is that whatever module is responsible for all that didn't power up correctly. After a "deep" power down (about 10 minutes after shutting the car off everything will power down) that reset the module to allow it to work again.

Hasn't happened since.

I'm guessing individual modules do a self-diagnosis or boot to match up with the mother board. We've all heard our printers clattering away minutes after printing something as they finally decide there's nothing else coming....

My guess it's a workflow problem that puts something to sleep until the next cycle. Bad programing.

It's a feature, not a bug.
