Order on Oct 4, prem AWD / ER. No news. Asked dealer what my priority is, and no news there as well.....

I'm formulating plan B / browsing other cars at this point.

I ordered in Oct to ensure I would get a 2022 model, but I could have ordered in August. I wanted to get the car by May 2022 and thought that Oct orders would be safe.... it's what they say about assuming I guess.

As others have posted, the MY22 Premium AWD MMes are just starting to get scheduled. Keep track of your status every Thursday (seems to be updated around noon CST). It may be your order confirmation date is key.

On the order confirmation date - I really really hope not - my original order date 9/15/2021 - converted to 2022 10/3/2022 and confirmed 2/3/2022.

What do you mean by safe? Safe from the 200k limit? or safe by recieving in May? I still believe you will see your car by May.

I hope you are right, but that would mean I am scheduled for March right? Average of 1 month of travel so April?

It seems like a good portion of March should be scheduled by now?

Plant downtime is next week - would not affect you if you placed an order now. Lots of smoke about MY22 orders being closed next week. If you wait until Fall for MY23, you won't have the tax credit.

I have orders from Oct 2021 but honesty I don’t care much about the tax credit. I’d be fine with 50% tax credit if it arrived in 2023.

The Chip Shortage is real. This will impact all of us. How much is the question. I am a Premium ER AWD scheduled for 3/7 production (ordered on 10/1). I expect a delay to happen. Hope it's not too long.

I allegedly got a build date today??! CA Rt1, AWD…. My dealer texted me the date is 3/11. My order was confirmed 10/8.
But… my ford account doesn’t show it yet so I’m not sure what he is seeing that I’m not…

Wow, this info is new to me. So my Ford account is still showing "order accepted". I should probably check with my dealer

Thanks for sharing that and congrats on progress. I ordered the exact same car (was confirmed on 9/16, added AWD when I found out my car was being upgraded to 2022). No update on site yet, so I will check in with the dealer today. Honestly, I'm seriously ready to give up and get something else if not. When I ordered, the estimated delivery time was December.

Update... my ford account still isn't showing as scheduled.. nor did I receive an email... I am starting to think he mixed me up with someone else. What a cruel joke! I'll update back if it's actually correct for those who ordered a similar car to me.
