Maybe they got towed to the dealer and are waiting to get diagnosed.

Maybe they got abducted by aliens!

We have at least 8 more pages to speculate what happened. ?

Wouldn’t be the first time someone joined, posted a few times, then never returned.
For sure!

Remember the poor lady who was convinced she had BC with auto lane change before it was released? Took the video of her car on the highway changing lanes on its own. That was scary. Lol!

aight, i'm just gonna cross all fingers and toes and just try it! let's boogie! THANK YOU!
so.... you never had Dealer check diagnostics to review or clear error codes?? How about review of the battery rails for tears from tow hooks? alignment?

You just keep driving without knowing if there is anything wrong ?

You want to be sure to sue ALL of your condo officers as well (have them named individually, and sued separately). Don’t worry, they’ll likely be covered by your association’s O&D insurance. Also, if your condo has any committees, be sure to go after the relevant committees, member-by-member (again, they should be covered by O&D). Committees might include things like landscaping architecture, and finance. You’re doing this to protect YOUR rights and YOUR property.
Most important things are:
1. Have your car examined by a Ford dealer ASAP for any damage (do not drive it - then you could be blamed for the damage).
2. Talk to a qualified lawyer ASAP to get valid legal advice.
Honestly this attitude terrifies me. I'm on the board of our small property owners association purely because I don't want some old asshats telling me what I can and can not do with my house without me having any say in it. We just maintain the pool and the sign at the entrance to the neighborhood. The idea of being personally sued because somebody got towed is pretty extreme. Sue the association all day long. The entity messed up and should have to pay to fix it. Having to fight my own personal battle in court with my own legal fees because of something that the organization did is kind of ridiculous. Even with D&O insurance eventually reimbursing the legal costs it's still a huge deal for an individual to deal with.

AHOY!

Not abducted by aliens but did have a pulmonary embolism! So, you know, 50/50. ;)

So as it turns out - yep, drove it half a mile and all the errors resolved! Still took it to the dealership and had em check her out. They did a full inspection and yep, was waiting for the diagnostics to return before an update!

Apparently, it's fine! They did a couple recalls (finally got my HVBJB fix) but all was well in the end. They lifted her up to look at the battery adn can see some scratches so they assume they put some hooks on wrong, realized it and took em off. No damage and, gratefully, no charge except the donuts and Red Bull I dropped off with her. So now she's home and happy and so am I!

PHEW! Thanks y'all for your insights and support! We did it!

Couple of things: these were very evil lawyers who took over our board. They were running a slick social media campaign against the existing board and tied up the association in all kinds of frivolous suits. Second, even if you are sued “personally”, if you’re being sued in your role as an officer, your association’s O&D insurance covers you (ask me how I know ?)

@widdershins Glad that PE was found and hope that you’re getting it taken care of. As a generally sedentary worker, that is one of my bigger fears. It’s another reason I’m happy to stop and charge my car on longer drives. So I can get out and move around. Time to start an aspirin regimen if you’re not allergic.
From your friendly neighborhood RN.

You’re far too lovely. Thank you! My baby aspirin and I shall be friends for a very long time, hopefully :)

Messages like Hill Start Assist not available (an old ICE leftover) are often a sign of a low 12v battery. I wonder if the towing triggered some process that kept running? Could also explain why it all tends to clear up for many after driving the car some (to charge the 12v).

I’m glad you did not die and are better. The car is secondary, but glad that the MME is rockin’-and-rolling’.

I back in to parking spaces most often. I front end in my garage. So far no adverse events to report.
