Has anyone traded their Mach e in?
OMG I can't believe the value has dropped this much.

The dealer is telling me even equity right now, and I have made an extra payment of 1000 every month for 18 months.

6 months ago CarMax type companies were offering more than what we paid.

I definitely wouldn't go based off the dealer, even with the market was insane they were still playing typical dealer shenanigans. Why not actually try CarMax and see how they compare?

I sold both my Select AWD for close to or more than I paid for them last year - The market tanked. Both are still sitting in inventory at Vroom for $5-8K less than they paid me for them. The first one has been in their inventory since Dec 2021 and the second since Sept 2022. Use models are not selling, even at dealerships (because they owe too much on them too).

The suckers who paid ADM are so upside down you'd rather an accident that totals it (+ gap insurance) to not be drowning

Just tried a few online offer places. For my 2022 Premium ER AWD (with 2000 miles) got two offers of 41k and 45k. I paid 60k MSRP 6 months ago, 50k after all the tax rebates. Seems like normal depreciation curve.

Also Carmax said they would not make an online offer because the car is "too rare".

Also keep in mind when dealer gives you trade credit, you are also saving on sales tax for the amount they give you. In my area, that's 9%. So 9% of $45k is ~$4000, so they are really paying you $49k.

I did and CarMax is afraid of them right now. They told me that they has to dump 300 Teslas at the auction because they could not sell them.

It's hard to know what actual selling price is for a used Mach E. Offer prices online are not actual selling price... In general, used car prices are falling back to traditional levels (blue line below), and the prices of used EVs are being hit by Tesla price cuts.

Could be worse... (could be raining ), the average used tesla tanked ~20% when new prices dropped ~20%

This depends on the state. OP is in California where this does not apply.

Carvana sold my GT for $14500 less than what they bought it from me, it took them 8 months to finally get the car sold.

The dealer said he would come up to 32,000
