Just had my renewal, £1400 from direct line, up from -£800 last year, with no changes whatsoever. Cheapest quote so far, is Ford, £807, which is still ridiculous.Same here?my renewal is due in November so I live in hope.

most of mine have been in that region. I’ve NFI what’s going on with insurance for the ‘stang, I’ve had some silly cars in the past, and never had such high quotes, or had companies even refuse to quote ( LV refused to quote this year, Aviva did the same last year ).ouch
Just done an enquiry with them for me. £1100.I suppose someone has to pay for all the ads!!!!
Could be the GT. I did a quote with LV earlier and they quoted me £1000 for me (ER RWD)most of mine have been in that region. HeyQuestion? Has anyone here signed up for the free trial of Ford Secure and using it.
I am confused as recently the "activate free trial" page showed up on my FP app & my online Ford account. Now when Ford removed the Securialert feature they said it would be replaced with Ford Secure which , apparently, is/will be a Thatcham accredited security system. However it was stated that the "hardware" for this system was NOT fitted to 21MY (mine) cars and some 22MY cars so would not be available for these cars. However it was also stated that a substitute system, although NOT Thatcham accredited, would at some stage become available.
Last week I opened up a query with the CRC/FP team to enquire why I had been invited to sign up to Ford Secure, which told me was the FULL package, when I had heard that my car wasn't capable of utilising the system. I received an email this afternoon saying that they couldn't figure out why I had received this invite and NOT to activate the trial as it is no longer available having been decommissioned in June.
Having been confused before I am really confused now after getting the email. I'm thinking that the sender might be confusing Ford Secure with the old Securialert system. I can't remember when that was taken away from us.
It’s just recently appeared in Ford Pass for my 21MY AWD ER. I’ve not bothered to activate it.Question? Has anyone here signed up for the free trial of Ford Secure and using it.

This is what the U.S. version does. Whether it applies to the U.K. is uncertain.Got another update today:

Have a look at S 3.1 & 3.2 of MOT testers Manual which will inform whether a repair is legal:Anyone got any advice for windscreen chip repairs?
Noticed a small chip this morning.
Tiny and not in field of view so should be repairable. All really depends on what sort/how big the damage is, if cracks have started to run from a chip which can be drilled and stopped from increasing in length.
