I actually pass one 50 miles away, looks like hundreds around brummie? Somehow ive got sidetracked, roller parcel shelf for boot or a luxury set of floor mats including boot. Mudflaps and window wind deflectors. Hmmmmm what to get first
Haha!

Those Ford rubber floor mats are one of the best things I had but I do use car for work so protected the luxury car mats & carpet now which are like new.

The poor thing’s worked like a horse, for around 100,000miles of it’s 120,000 was loaded with tools to max permissible weight😬
I must admit, I use mine for work as I traded my van in towards it, have to see how long I can keep it clean. I was really miffed with ford this week, before I purchased the car I looked on the wed for towing capacity everywhere I looked, the er awd can tow 1590kg, i should of asked ford! Only to find out this week, it's only 1000kg, so. I now have a caravan for sale !!!!!
I have the Electroverse app, just before I got the car I joined Octopus energy, they are installing my homecharger at the end of the month

I was dead lucky.

Live in a tiny rural Nottinghamshire village, bought a 1973-build that I found inexplicably had 3-phase leccy to the garage so installed a 3-phase ABB charger and it’s been amazing.

Looking forward to the end of the month when I get my hypervolt charger, I could charge fully overnight then instead of about 3 days. I'm feeling g a little more confident about my journey being g as there are so many chargers. Had it two weeks now, didn't expect a long trip so soon

I never even think about Stangy as an EV anymore such is the ease with which I am able to charge out on the road and fully charge the ER battery for c£14 at home in 7 to 8 hrs on the 22kW ABB 3-phase charger😁😁

Haaaaaaappeeee daze👍👍

Goodbye. This Monday coming my leased 71k miles, 4 year old MME goes back. It grew on me and now I will miss it. Being a company car I have to choose from a list and the MME was just too much trade up on the list and so I am moving to a Polestar 4. I would have gone for another MME if the finances were right. So now I will have to learn of the quirks of the P4, grumble about all the software bugs and get used to the rear view mirror monitor whilst wearing varifocals! What would we do if we had nothing to grumble about! Anyway I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best and enjoy you MMEs!

Good luck with the Polestar. Let us all know how it goes after you have a few miles in it.

Apologises in advance if this question has been asked already. I want to replace my 4 year old 12V battery (BHAGM-H3 35Ah) with the same or a suitable larger battery (I note that the battery tray can take a longer battery). For the life of me I cannot find where to get one. Entering my car registration results in ‘no results found’ in many battery supplier sites. Any suggestion/links will be very much appreciated.

I expect nobody does them outside Ford dealerships.

If it were me I’d go with one from Ford dealership to avoid the risk of any issues with compatibility, battery management etc.

Teslaeata is right and if you are not in a hurry to change the battery just ring a couple of Ford dealers to get the best price and availability.

Took the Mach e in for the entrapment recall and had asked about the Mustang keys when I booked it in, yes I was told they would swap over. Picked it up today only to be told Ford are no longer swapping the Ford branded keys over to the Mustang ones, oh well TBH the other half who drives it 99.9% is probably happier with the smaller Ford key

Which dealer?

Sandicliffe were telling me this for ages until I informed them Perrys Ford in Mansfield could get them overnight and do the key swap.

If you’re interested still, maybe worth talking to other dealerships.

It may, however be the case that things changed again since I had mine done.

The European OEM part number for the Mach-E 12v is 2641060 or M2GT-10655-BA. I bought one from Parts Plus for about £170 and installed it myself about a year ago with no issue.

H3 size seems to be 002L in the UK and Varta make a third party battery at 40Ah which they say fits a MME but I've not tried it. Might be a slightly cheaper alternative and the OEM battery is made by Varta here so the brand is fine. Might be worth a punt.

I thought I'd give you a quick update now I have had the Polestar a few weeks. Yes software glitches, very poor traffic sign recognition and you cannot permanently disable the over speed limit beeping. It's a pain when it thinks it's 5mph. Car is smooth, comfortable, responsive, the cruise control works well so far. I have got used to the rear view monitor. Currently I think the MME is a better car. Only provided with one key (extra key circa £450), lack of Android Auto and lack of Android as a digital key are my main gripes. Let's see how things develop or not

Interesting, thnx.

I bumped into a Polestar salesman at Gretna services charge station in the early days and his number 1 selling point was “it don’t look like a Volvo” which made laugh.

I stood back, looked at its rear end and told him “well, it bloody does!”

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I knew somebody who had one who was impressed by his Polestar 2.
