Thats great, have just checked out the Wiki document and think I have found the VIN number, although looking in the tracker it doesn't give too much information!

Guess like everyone I'm just impatient and really looking forward to getting it!

Yeah just to let you know the tracker was designed for US configurations, so there's not a massive amount of data in it for us UK people. But what you should be able to see is any build dates and order status - which are the important bits

Your VIN should start with a "WF0TR1" as you ordered a RWD model.

Well welcome to the club! I think someone at Ford rolled a 52 sided dice to see how many weeks they would quote on new orders, and 20-23weeks ended up being made the default option ?

Well I did wonder if that 20-23 weeks was plucked from thin air, one dealer I called just before I ordered online said he didn't even know when I could place an order and to call back in 3 or 4 weeks time.
Just ordered online later in the day!!

OMG - well that's a dealer to avoid at all costs then! The lack of knowledge at some dealerships on the sales side is astonishing.

Yer didn't end up using them, I'm pretty sure he wasn't that bothered if I actually ordered the car or not!

My dealer said they just get a handling fee to receive the car and organise the car handover.

Hooray. Finally mine seems to be on the move. 0630 no change on tracker. 0800 and it is now showing "in transit". No ship date yet but it's a start

As long as the next update gives me a ship date and not back to "in production" your mojo obviously worked so you're on ?

So I had three updates during the course of the day yesterday.

8am: Status changed to “In Transit”
12pm: Ship date was filled with a date
3pm: Transit date was filled with “03”

so look out for the three updates today ? ?
