In the WiKI there's instructions for looking up your VIN But you need the Ford Order number not the leasing company Order. Ford Orders are numbers only and will look like 10009nnn where n is a number. So I think the Gxxxx must be the Leasing companies order.

actually thinking about that it won't work as you need to log in to the Ford account and that will be in the name of the Leasing company. I think you'll have to hassle them for the VIN.

Very good point. You’ll be charging mainly off peak. I think the Zappi and Ohme has this feature.
The car comes with a commando plug adapter on the variopower lead. This uses a 32 amp commando socket. This will charge at almost the same speed as a wallbox. Might be an idea to ask your electrician jf this can be an alternative
Thanks, I will ask the electrician about this and see what the charge time would be. Will post again when I get an answer.

I think your FE was built about the same time as mine, I've just now had this email reply from Rebecca:

I have been waiting for an update from production and I can now confirm you vehicle has been built and was gate released on the 11th March. It is currently on route to the port.
Your dealer will contact you when it is on a ship as we will supply them with a list of vin numbers and they will be able to give you an idea of expected delivery.
Kind regards
Rebecca

I've already known this for a week, as the tracker says it's 'In Transit' and hopefully will make it on-board the Grande Halifax for departure on 21st March, arriving Antwerp 14th Apr. Maybe ours will ride together? Hope you get a sensible answer quickly!
Rebecca mailed yesterday to say my FE is anticipated to arrive at Antwerp 16th April and expected delivery to me early June. New person taking over from her is Hannah apparently.

Hi Nick,

Check if your email mentions the ship Gral San Martin. We think that this is incorrect information as the ship is due to be in Lagos on the 16th April. If you received that email, you are probably in the same batch as Patches & mine.

I'm sure we will know more once Vista gets updated although my dealer can't access that order because of the dealer change.

Fingers crossed!

My dealer confirmed this morning that all the cars are subject to the 5 to 10 week lead time from Antwerp to dealer. Vista now showing ETA to dealer w/c 19th June (was 12th June). Ford have known about the quality issues for a long time and I would have thought the issues would have been rectified at the factory, given mine was only built 2 weeks ago.

Those we my thoughts as well. The replay I had from Hannah when I queried the 5-10 weeks from Antwerp was :-

"So we allow 7 to 10 weeks at Antwerp to allow for all the quality controls that need take place and any updates etc that need doing."

I didn't bother saying that surely the best place to do QC would the factory itself where rectifications could be made if necessary. Quire clearly, there are production issues. 7-10 weeks to QC a car? What the hell are they doing? Dismantling it and rebuilding it 10 times?

My personal opinion is that they are working on fixes to the issues but they haven't been resolved yet. They are giving them selves the 7-10 week buffer" to solve the issues in a way that can be rectified more locally so that we don't have to wait even longer for our cars.

Starting to think that I may wait a year until all the issues are resolved.

Thought this information may be helpful for some...

I've just had northern powergrid out to look at my system. I am on a looped supply (end of loop) and have a 60A fuse. The guy helpfully told me that a loophole is, if you have a 60A fuse you are legally allowed to ask for a 80A fuse upgrade. However, they cannot do this on a looped supply, so they will un-loop at their cost.

I have just started this process, and I have a survey booked in for next week. I will update if the information is correct.

It won't take 5 - 10 weeks to QC "a" car. But if they have 300 - 400 arrive they are going to want to do them ALL before they ship them to dealers/customers which will take a longer time scale. We have no idea what the problems are, apart from what our US friends have reported. Sounds like some things are software related, easy(ish) fix with an update. Some things could be hardware related, so replace component or update. One US member had to have a rear motor replacement because they found a short in it. That is more of a major issue. Even if they have identified all of the issues they then have to get any parts etc delivered to Antwerp. Now some of these could be on the ships that our cars are on or they could be coming in from elsewhere. Cars that were built later might be ok but they are saying the delay "just in case". For me personally, while the extra wait really sucks and is inconvenient, at least I know that the car I eventually get will be as trouble free as they can make it. My dealer is 30 miles away so I really don't want to have to keep going back and forth to get issues resolved.
