I can't remember using the brakes except when I floored it a little in traffic and needed the brakes as OPD wouldn't be enough to get me stopped by the next junction!

I drove the black SR from the tour as that might be relevant if different demo cars have different brake wear.

Excellent reviews from you guys... just want to talk BRAKES... This must be a car specific thing. Firstly, I drive a lot of cars. When working I do a lot of fly drives. I think my record was 52 in a year. I've also owned a good few cars including the rather brutal Nissan GTR. I've done various track days and driven track prepared cars.

None of them have had as snappy brakes at the MME. Even with the "L" button the brakes on my demo bit pulling me forward. I could just about adjust for it but I really don't think my wife would.

The car had done 2500 miles so it's not a bedding in issue. Some people have had this issue but many not... perhaps an early demo issue? adjustable in software perhaps?

What are you thoughts? Clearly most of you are not finding this...
I agree it must be car specific on some of these early/pre-production cars. I drove AJ70 AZZ and definitely found the brakes very sharp. I'm sure in time I'd get used to them but they were the snappiest in any car I've driven and I've had quite a few brand new cars (and motorbikes) over the years.

In other news... The F12 status of my car has updated.

So far in Antwerp it's been:
01/04/2021 - compound in (Arrival)
20/04/2021 - PTI update date on ETIS
23/04/2021 - compound in (guessing back from Aktrion QA)
07/05/2021 - compound in (???)
So obviously something was done with it on Friday.

The vmacs codes are still "91" and "711" whatever they mean, they haven't changed.

They probably just moved it to a different area to make space for the new cars arriving

To be perfectly honest with you, on yesterday's test test I think I only used the friction brakes once and that was right at the beginning of the drive. OPD worked beautifully. Any NEW car needs the brakes bedding in which is why at first they seem snatchy. Any normal car with 2500 miles on the clock should have their brakes bedded in. However, the MME is not a normal car and if most of the miles that the demo vehicles have been done using OPD then my theory is this is why some people are reporting snatch brakes.
Yes you could be right but it was evident even with OPD. With regen in low it was better but still, not exactly what I would call smooth. I found OPD in the iPace far better.

I am not knocking the car. Most of the test drive was excellent especially on the motorway. 30-70(100) was epic....

My ETIS date is still 24.2.21
It's hopefully in Antwerp as it was meant to be on the Grande Florida.

Yes. But the red one is no longer mine. I only have one car now...crazy (mainly because they were only 2 weeks apart 15th and 29th May. What a joke that is.

No change on mine, either. I’m convinced it’s frozen and not loading anymore lol

my FE was in Halifax arrived on April 19 and my PTI is still on 01/26/2021 and yet the concierge told me that she had passed all the checks. surely still a bug or since she spent two months in Veracruz, the checks may have been made there.
