When I went in for my test drive last week, my dealer had some paperwork for me to sign. I noticed that my deposit hadn't been deducted from the outstanding total. He mentioned he wasn't sure how that would be recouped. he checked with his manager and he was also clueless. He concluded that I might need to contact the concierge directly. Anybody have a clue?

I spoke to my dealer ages ago about this very same thing. Because the deposit was paid into his account he is going to deduct it from my overall deposit. He even said that when he had a cancellation he had to pay the customer back. Bottom line I think is that it is nothing to do with Ford. It is down to your dealer. If they say otherwise they are passing the buck

I got a Pod-Point as well. They give you a blanket six week lead time but i had mine done within about ten days.

The Grande New Jersey has now arrived, last night, in Veracruz. Hopefully some of our cars are on that to start their journey to Antwerp! Fingers crossed.

my MME is still showing 'Compound In' but my dealer says it is definitely in VeraCruz although he says VISTA does not tell him what ship it's going to be loaded onto... as it's been in the same status since May 1 I'm hoping it's at the front of the queue for loading......

Does anyone happen to know when the Grande New Jersey is due to leave Veracruz? I know she is due into Antwerp 10th June, at the moment at least.

Does the process take long...

The time consuming bit was getting the gov grant application completed which took weeks. Once it was appoved internally by pod point the appointment was within 2 weeks.

It's been installed for around 2 months and the car took ages and still isn't here!
