My F12 has not changed either, and she also could not tell me if it's on the ship, still showing at Veracruz, I'm only assuming it is on the vassal because the Eta dates are coming closer and she told be it one the way. Don't make any sense to me, or the F12 has not updated yet.Really excited for everyone who's car is coming very soon! Hopefully I will get to see the Mach e out on the UK roads very soon. I feels like I am now living the frustration that most of you went through. My car has been sat at Veracruz since 1/5. I was hoping it would have been on the ship that left this week but checking the F12, this does not seem to be the case! I emailed Georgia yesterday to try and shed some light, but see said it was at the port and that is all the information she could give me. I did ask when it was due to be shipped, I was told she did not have that information ether.
Randomly, I got the on its was email this afternoon, along with a update from my dealer saying delivery has come forward by 2 week! (The desktop changed to on its way over a month ago).
Definitely annoying not knowing much more than that, but hopefully there will be another ship soon to start my cars long journey to the UK.
Sounds like you're experiencing the same as me! Hopefully they are on the ship. What was your latest ETA?My F12 has not changed either, and she also could not tell me if it's on the ship, still showing at Veracruz, I'm only assuming it is on the vassal because the Eta dates are coming closer and she told be it one the way. Do you know what your build date was?My F12 has not changed either, and she also could not tell me if it's on the ship, still showing at Veracruz, I'm only assuming it is on the vassal because the Eta dates are coming closer and she told be it one the way. That is tremendous news Grahame! It's all systems go. Car has arrived at the dealer's compound (about 40 miles away) but won't get to the dealership until Monday. They are part of a group so all their new cars go to a central compound and get onward moved from there. Direct Debit form and finance documents signed. Insurance sorted. Added bonus is that the interest rate has gone down and so now my payments are about £50 cheaper than I had budgeted for. Result. Collection all arranged for Wednesday. I'm so excited. Can't see me getting much sleep over the next few days. Please tell me that I am not the only one who has a collection date arranged. I will feel VERY guilty if I am.
Thanks for that although there were others who contributed too. It wasn't just meThat is tremendous news Grahame!
Don't feel guilty this is nothing less than you deserve for steering the ship through, at times, choppy waters and keeping us all safe and onboard!.
You have been such a major contributor to this forum and, like others, I'm so glad you are going to be one of the first to receive their car.
Enjoy!!
Don't feel guilty at all Grahame, you've been so helpful on here and have waited so long it's only fair you get yours first. Even my wife often asks me "Has Grahame got his car yet?" As I've been telling her about this forum. It's all systems go. Car has arrived at the dealer's compound (about 40 miles away) but won't get to the dealership until Monday. I fully appreciate that there are others but, as yet, I'm not aware of any of them having a collection date? Thanks for that although there were others who contributed too. It wasn't just me
I have the front seat tilt function on my current Kuga. It also has lumber support. After about 6 months I started to get bad back ache. I suffer with back problems anyway which is why a car with lumber support is a must. Anyway I went to a chiropractor and she told me that the problem was probably my seating position. When I flattened the seat I was fine and have been ever since. The seat tilt function is not what is cracked up to be. And I'm 5'11"Further to my post just now about the mixup over the lease car I’ve ordered, I mentioned there that I’m having some doubts...
I managed to get a test drive a few weeks ago and I have to admit that I had a problem with the seat. I only drove the car for 40 minutes but came back with quite a backache.
This may just be down to not getting the adjustment right, though I tried as best I could in the time available, or perhaps I would adapt to it. But my impression was that the seat squab is too short for me (I’m 6’3”) and I couldn’t get any support under the backs of my legs because the electric adjustment doesn’t include a tilt function. Normally I’d tip the base of the seat to be higher at the front of the seat than the back but the seat in the Mach E seems completely flat and the available adjustments don’t make much if any difference to this. I’ve since read a thread elsewhere on this forum where others have complained about the same thing.
Really unsure what to do now and the test drive programme seems to have finished as far as I can see.
I’m just wondering if anyone in the North West who is about to take delivery of their car would do me an enormous favour and allow me to sit in the driver’s seat of their car to have another shot at getting comfortable. (Not looking to drive it!). I’d be very appreciative and it would really help my decision. I’m just worried about landing myself for 4 years with a car that may give me backache!
That's great news! While I must admit I'm a teeny bit jealous as mine seems to be stuck in checks still, I'm glad you're one of the early ones after all the advice you've given! It's all systems go. Yes it is. The APR I have got is 4.7%You say you found the interest rate had gone down, can I just ask is that on Ford Credit PCP? That's how I'm financing mine and the current interest rate is 4.9% so it would be great if mine drops!
