LOL now I have update anxiety (I update the instant new software comes out on the iPhone or anything for that matter). I got a Fordpass message that the update did not go through. Honestly, this car is like having an iPhone.....
Haha... I know what you mean.

Spare a thought... My last update was 22nd Feb, which was the week it was built! Nothing since then. Tells me to check back later when I look for Sync updates online and car just say system up to date, even though I know its not and I've not had any updates! Quite frustrating

Meet Lexie! I finally picked her up today, absolutely loved the journey home. I selected OPD right from the start and the only tricky part was parallel parking, but just a case of getting used to it!

My only issue really is so far haven't been able to activate Ford Pass on the car yet, I can't remember what others have done to get round this but I'll search the forum later, not got time at the moment.

I even gave her a drink of Instavolt which all went without a hitch! My dealer had planned to have her fully charged for me, he plugged her in last thing yesterday evening, but then someone in the workshop helpfully turned the charger off not realising it was needed!!! Never mind!

Thanks to @portlandg 's post #9,812 I have now got my Ford Pass activated!

Strange the car says up to date but the FordPass app says update missing.

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum but been following for a while.

After following the MME for about 2 years and along with 2 test drives in June (had the biggest grin arriving back at the dealer), reading all the posts here (despite the traumas along the way!) helped convince me to place an order on 4 July.

I was then lucky to get a call from my dealer a few days after ordering to say I’d picked up a cancellation and today I got my mail from Ford to say that my MME is in the European port. Excitement levels ratcheting up!

And congrats to those whose ponies have just arrived in the UK!

Just had a call from my dealer to say it’s not actually at their dealership. He didn’t elaborate on that but I assume it’s at some dealership group compound ??ā€ā™‚ Either that or he doesn’t realise it’s there. Seems odd that it says ā€˜at final destination’

Have had a zappi fitted this week for my mach e but keep getting a delayed charge message. Can only overcome it if I turn the car on. Tried to use zappi schedule and found this issue - I have no charging schedules set in the car - help please

Had a drive in a AWD ER this afternoon and it confirmed that my decision to get the RWD ER was the correct one.
I found the ride was harsher, noisier and overall just not so pleasant. There was a lot more road noise from tyres, presumably the difference between 18" and 19". The harsher ride quality I put down to the extra weight of the second motor.

Anyone know why my Ohme charger location for my home is showing as Reading when I live in London? I have tried lots of stuff and can’t get it to change.

Cheers mate! ??

First attempt to charge at home failed and induced cold sweats, but after unplugging and plugging back in again it started working… think the Zappi and the car just needed to have a drink together first.

After dinner I’ll be heading to a services station to check the tyre pressures… the readings are a bit all over the place and changed on the drive… only one tyre inflated correctly, the others are over and under.
Scott - how are you getting on with the zappi and the mach e - I can't get any schedules to work without the car being turned on. the zappi just goes into to delayed charge with the car locked and shut down. with the car on I can plug in, starts charging and I can lock the car up and charging completes without any issue. In addition the app is very flakey and incorrect with departure times - you cannot use the feature without the car being plugged in - is this the same for you ?

It’s not user error, don’t worry. There is something funny going on with the charge schedule. I’m also trying to get to the bottom of it.

One thing we know is that you can’t use departure times in conjunction with a charge schedule and a max charge set. It prioritises your max charge rate and will charge outside schedule to get it. This is annoying since I don’t need 80% charge to do the daily school runs. I think Ford are aware of this… hopefully it will be fixed.

The other issues I am seeing is that the charge starting and stopping within schedule is a lottery. I think this might be down to the fact that I ā€œbreakā€ the connection by unplugging either during or before a charge schedule… seems like it resets and the car reverts to a plug while charged in setting. Another possibility is that I charge on variable speeds. I trickle on a schedule between 10am-4pm everyday @1.4kW and then if I need full charge it’s @ 7kW overnight. It is possible that the car is getting confuse by which speed it is going to get and as such when I plug in after a school run it sees it’s going to get 1.4kW instead of the 7kW it got the night before and decides it better start charging ahead of schedule to hit the 80%…

I know this is not specific to your issue, but there is something not right at the minute. Make sure you have set your home charge location up in the car and set your charge to 80%. Do it in the car, then check that it’s synced in your FordPass app. Go to Manage Charging > Preffered Charge Times > under saved locations you should see your recently set Home location, navigate into that and make sure that is set to 80%… it should have synced with the car. Hopefully that’s all that you’ll need to do ?? If you do start needing to program schedules, you might end up having to do it via your pod point. I have to use my Zappi schedule until I can find out why the car is prioritising the max charge level over my schedules.

Have read your post with interest - have you got the zappi to work with schedules when the car goes to sleep - I cannot get any of the car charging schedules to work either I must be doing something wrong as I keep getting charge delayed unless I turn the car on after I plug in - can you help at all

Interesting reading the zappi issues.

I’ve emailed them because mine keeps pausing. Recently I’ve seen it sending 2.7kw back to the grid with the car on 82% and waiting charge.

I also found out it only sends solar to the car over 1.4kw. Anything less than that and it goes back to the grid.

Told them I would be happy getting anything more than 0.5kw going to the car. Slow but free.

They said it’s an EV Charging requirement.

If your problems persist I emailed [email protected] and got a very fast response.
