4500 miles in and have now seen 3 other Mach e, strangely enough one parked in the next village (in CM22) less than a mile from my house...bit gutted about that as up until then I hadn't seen one locally.... i'll get over it! Did have an interesting encounter on the M1, I was in the fast lane, at about 85, when I passed a 'proper' Mustang in the centre lane. I pulled in about 3 cars in front and then I saw this bright orange 'proper' pull out, came up beside me, matched my speed (by then I was about 75), looked at me...shook his head, pushed his aviator glasses up...revved his engine (loudly) and roared off...... ?? I waved as he pulled off, a special wave I have for those type of people...
As he roared off a gallon of petrol was injected into the cylinders... Money to burn , literally.

Thanks :)

Yeah Big Red is still in for screen diagnostics and the dealership don’t seem to be in any hurry to return her any time soon. Thankfully Ford have very kindly loaned me Big Blue (AWD ER) for as long as it takes. ? I’m pretty sure if my dealership had a say in it I’d probably be driving a 1 litre Fiesta at the moment ?

Itā€˜s been an interesting experience to drive 3000 miles in a RWD ER and then have an AWD ER for an extended period as well. While there are some obvious visual and mechanical differences they are very very similar beasts to drive. If there were no visual clues as to which one you were driving I personally think it would be difficult to tell them apart as they are both so good.

I saw one at Mercia Marina in Willington in the car park two weeks ago. The owner was just getting out the car as I was mine. We had a brief chat and he was very pleased with his. Then I saw one driving through our village yesterday when I went for a walk. It seems as though Derbyshire is the in place for Mach E's. :) :)

Just been to the dealer to complete the paperwork and saw this stable of ponies ready for collection from 1st Sept - all 71 plates. Mine’s the RR on the right. Anyone else collecting from Stevenage in the next week?

Only slight concern at the moment is that the dealer has no record of the PCP agreement as I did this direct with Ford at time of ordering rather than him and it’s not fully clear what he or I need to do now. I’m hoping this will get resolved in next few days and assuming Ford will contact the dealer as the car is registered, but who knows… I know others have had similar experiences on the financing - how did it get resolved before car handover?

I think I prefer the saving I'm making using electric instead of petrol plus the amount of compliments and looks I get. No-one gave me complements when I drove a petrol kuga.

First time poster, long time lurker, thanks everyone for keeping us sane through the ordering process. It was almost exactly six months from order to delivery. We've had it a week and have already done 500 miles and loved every one of them! The only problem is the dealer noticed a defect in the paintwork, but they're going to sort that out in a couple of weeks. 48-hour job - looking forward to a boggo Fiesta as a loaner ?! Here's a pic:

I have - drop me a personal message with your email and I'll send them over. Unfortunately the forum won't let me attach the files to the thread or to a personal message.

I guess I could also stick them on OneDrive and send you link to that if you like

I haven’t seen another MME on the road yet.
Me neither. 2700miles covered with trips down to Weston-super-Mare and up to Norfolk. Thought I might have seen Wonky, being as he had left a review of charging station at morrisons Cromer. Incidentally this wasn't working when I tried.
Hooked up to a 22kv in Holt whilst in a restaurant, as we walked away, two young lads went by on there scooters. First lad, what car is that, 2nd lad replied, looks like a ferrari.
First lad, oh don't like them.?
Was having a little chuckle as we carried on walking.

My sales guy is on annual leave and trying to speak to anyone in Ford is a major exercise. I got my ER RWD because of the 379 mile range which I never expected to be able to charge to but hoped for certainly say 340. When I collected my car 2 weeks ago it was showing 100% 335 miles. Since then the maximum 100% I can get is 283 and at 80% about 231. I read all this crap about how you drive and weather etc but if you cannot charge in the first place to 80% or 100% of battery sold capacity your journey starting capacity has already been reduced before you put a foot on the pedal or drive through a gale!! I have to ask have I got a faulty battery? Currently waiting for dealer to come back as he wants to bring car in to check the battery. What experience have others had.
I had a similar issue - charging level down to 299 at 100% - 4 weeks in - changed my driving and started to use one pedal drive - 100% now back up to 341 getting 3.8 to 4.2 mls/kWh has done the trick.

My dealer did the finance a bit different to several others on here. I can only assume they liaised with Ford Credit to let them know when I'd be picking up the car because a couple of days before I got an email from Ford Credit to say the contract was ready to e-sign. I did all this and it was approved by Ford Credit the next day. I then paid the outstanding balance to my dealer the day after that when I picked up my car. First monthly payment has come out as expected a month later.
