I've heard nothing since I confirmed and digitally signed during that process. But I only confirmed last week.

I think I also noticed on a french thread that their confirmation deadline was the same as ours and has since increased by a week. Perhaps they has loads of cancelled orders.

We do have the same confirmation deadlines. Do not hesitate to follow up with your seller to sign the order form. January is soon.

I got offered (and am taking) the 48 too. It’s the only thing that makes it vaguely affordable ?

In regard to order confirmations - I’ve also heard nothing since signing online. Just spoken to dealership and despite us moving into Tier 4 on Boxing Day he’s going to look into it on Tuesday 29th when he’s back to work in his closed showroom (bless him!)

It seems that I am not the only one which is nice to know. I'm thinking that part of the reason is that I didn't use the link in the email asking me to confirm, after you said that the ordering was open I went straight into my Ford account and confirmed.

It’s ok - I have very broad shoulders ?

You can still click the link in the email to activate the tracking cookie ? But it looks very benign and doesn’t appear to activate any special URL. Just takes you to the MyFord login page.

It looks like sales orders are handled by back office admin rather than sales floor staff, so there may be a bit of a disconnect.

I’ll have all the juicy detail by Tuesday.

I must say the ordering process is all a little vague.
I have confirmed my order using the link in the email. I have an order number which is the same as my Jan 20 pre order number. There is nothing regarding finance, I assume that will come later. I have received nothing in the way of confirmation other than a suggested delivery date of the 14th April. After Xmas I will email the dealer to confirm it appears on their system.
Grahame/Wonky can you please remind me again how you received your VIN.
I did not order any accessories I expect to do this later if required.

A quick phone call to the dealer should get you the VIN if your vehicle has been / or is very close to being built in the factory

Having confirmed my order on 11th I am still waiting for my dealer to receive the email from FordUK so that he can counter sign the order. Is there anyone else still waiting?
He says he has received his but not mine. Although I have confirmation of my order and my dealer says the system says I have confirmed my order I am still concerned that the process has stalled for some reason. With the 8th Jan deadline approaching and with the Christmas break upon us time is tight.

Yes same issue. Dealer advises some glitch means that they have not received copy of order forms but tells me not to worry and they are expecting forms to make their way through in time and if not they will arrange a new form for re-signing.
