Pretty worrying how far one of those bolts turns for the correction.
Agreed considering the rest all torqued correctly. Doesn't make sense one bolt would be loose if simply wrong process followed.

Probably incorrectly programmed tooling.

I expect it is done as a pattern by a robot, but it missed a step further n the program. Put them all in at a low torque then go around them again upping the torque.

I also got the 10 to 14wk email.

Got booked in for a test drive in April. Dealer said that the demo car is not UK spec so some things might be a bit different.

Yeah it's bolt number 4 and I agree that it's loose not tighened to a wrong standard.

It's shameful for such an expensive car to have this kind of workmanship. It's exactly what's to be avoided to ensure they aren't working to Tesla's standard.

I'm really angry. Today my dealer confirmed that Ford would honour the £3000 discount, then I saw the statement on here ans contacted Hannah who very clearly said that they don't know what's going on yet but my dealer is incorrect. HOW can any business operate like this?

well, write down the date and time and if the dealer put it in writing you will have a very strong case.

In their T&C's it probably says something like "errors and omissions accepted" ... paste from wiki - Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE) is a phrase used in an attempt to reduce legal liability for potentially incorrect or incomplete information supplied in a contractually related document such as a quotation or specification.

BUT... there's some obligation at least. You have more than me. My dealer is completely mute on the issue.

When I look at my order , the grant pricing is reflected but i dont see a line item for the grant. It just says Dealer OTR Promotional price
I just noticed this in mine as well. I'm sure it didn't show like that before or have I clearly gone insane? Given that page doesn't mention anything about a government grant and just the promotional price I think I'm going to screen grab it, print it and wave it at Ford if they try to change my price.....

Edit: I'm clearly insane: It's the same terminology used in the original finance contract which shows it's because of the government grant.....ah well. Grasping at straws and living in hope

So I got the 10-14 week email like everyone else, but I also have a change on the My Ford "Manage Your Order" part which now says that my Mach-E is no longer "In Production" and instead is now "On It's Way" - though the My Ford site still shows my car's estimated availability as 20-23 weeks.

The Tracker (when it worked) showed my car as being "In Transit" for the past month or so, and I'm not sure of the difference between "in production" and "in transit".

I pre ordered a Mach e in November 2019. I confirmed when asked in December 2020 believing the car was only 3 months away. Yesterdays email says the car is another 3 months away. I wish I'd cancelled a long time ago. I could have been driving some other electric car by now. Instead I'll be at the back of the queue ordering something else.

What irks me the most is that if I do cancel I assume "my" car will still be sent to my dealer. Someone will walk in off the street, buy it and drive it away a few hours later thinking what a great company Ford is.

Verbally and not in writing. I have the date and time of the call on my call log and have already given the details to Hannah but apparently its meaningless.
