Just been told by my lease company that my vehicle is 'in transit'. Excuse my ignorance, but does this mean it's on a boat?

If so, does anyone know where I can find which ones have sailed since the 9/4? (That was my last update on the software thingy)

Think some people on here may have some comments on this article which is about how Ford want a smooth launch of the Mach E. QC Checks on cars are mentioned as is the tracking /lack of.

Perhaps they have built it but had semiconductor chips missing so it has gone back to have them fitted after they received new stock

Damn! I've worked out why the web site says I have a range of 432 Miles (I wish!) ... for some reason it's showing the Km range ... 432 Km is 269 miles.

It's probably confused that it's stuck in the EU!!!

actually it’s very poor system localisation. The car is in the EU reporting Km but the website knows I’m in the UK so displays miles. Poor systems ....

Today my order has gone back from 'On it's way' to 'In production' again. Has this happened to anyone before? I know it's built, but confused why the tracker is going in reverse. ?

Plus still getting 500 server errors on F12.

This has happened to me. Happened on my original order a month or so ago, but it didn’t effect anything. Happened again recently with my new order. I wouldn’t worry too much... unless it’s semiconductor related ??But I think I can recall it happening to others on here as well at some point?

EDIT: my new order has gone from in production back to order confirmed btw... not on its way back to into production... but the timings are the same.

"In transit" can also mean at the docks waiting for a ship. I think mine spent a lot of time "in transit" waiting for the ship, weeks.

Hello all "H" here - ahem - I mean Wonky Donkey - yeah that's me.

So you wanted to know how to get all that lovely extended detail over what bits are included in your particular build....

Here's how:

We are going to be using the Web Inspector / Developer mode in your browser again - but will be looking at a different package this time. It's slightly different in every type of browser so I will have to generalise a little here. I'll try and post some screenshots below for each of the main browsers to help a bit.

1) Firstly use your browser and go to www.ford.co.uk/dashboard and log-in

2) Then switch your browser into Developer mode (often achieved by pressing the F12 key) - but more reliably done via the top menu bar where it says "Develop" or "Tools".

3) You'll then have the same view that you've been using to track the other bits like VIN numbers and Order status updates etc.

4) You need to make sure you are on "NETWORK" --- "XHR" --- and "PREVIEW" or "RESPONSE" (it varies by browser)

5) Press the refresh button on the browser and the page will re-load, and you'll see the data come in.

6) In the list of Name data - look for "Detail" - the preview of that file will give you the extended list.

Hopefully that's enough for you to find the data. If you get stuck drop me a private message and I'll help you out.

Just tried it and all seems as expected except this line:

As mine is a SR RWD I did not think it came with powerfolding mirrors, may be I'll get a surprise!
