Sorry to hear of all the problems you've had. I've followed your journey with interest as I was in a similar position. I pre-ordered on 18/11/2019 too and my RR FE was stuck in Antwerp for 16 weeks, no reasons given (I pushed quite hard) except it needed a Sync 4A update (software module update). I reckon it was simply stuck at the back of the car compound and they couldn't get to it as more cars kept getting loaded off the ships and filled the space in front of it! At one point I could track it, but they would never admit to this. The Executive Office gave me mostly daily updates and prioritised my car to get it out of Antwerp (although I suspect they had little control). Mine was delivered to the dealer (Gates Stevenage) last Friday and at long last I pick it up today (with hopefully no issues). I also live close by to you in St Albans. I've followed this forum and the UK WhatsApp group but haven't been that vocal (have just been too busy!). I also complained to Lisa Brankin (Ford UK MD) and asked for a loaner. The Executive Office responded within 2 days and within 8 days they delivered a brand new loaner (AWD ER Infinite Blue) which I've been driving for the last 7 weeks with no major issues. It enabled me to sell my Mustang coupe, which I'm grateful for. There's also another Carbonised Grey in my road (but haven't spoken to them yet!). Hope yours gets resolved soon.
Thanks for that - So I could be the last one standing!

I notice the GT's are now being delivered in the US already. I would have waited for one of those if I knew the pathetic saga that was in front of me on the 18th November 2019.

Oh well - lesson learned - NEVER BE AN EARLY ADOPTER. You are treated like shit for being a guinea pig.

To all those collecting your cars today congratulations! I’ve had mine 3 weeks now and absolutely love it! Get used to the stares as you drive, people asking you about it, once whilst I was at a set of lights and the very few, just one so far, who thinks Mustangs should not be electric????
anyway, the car is great but the app is a work in progress and I am sure it will get there.
My time for setting a departure keeps defaulting to Detroit so my car isn’t ready when I want it, anyone else had this and have a solution or shall I just work to Detroit time?

I don't suppose you drove through a village called Longwick in Bucks about an hour ago? I just drove past a Mach E with a similar looking chap in the driving seat!

I don't suppose you drove through a village called Longwick in Bucks about an hour ago? I just drove past a Mach E with a similar looking chap in the driving seat!

Not me Joe- this was in Plymouth. I know the MME is fast- but not that fast!

I know mention has been made above boot liners but I am searching for something to protect the sides as well from a very wet and muddy Labrador. Amazon has several that nearly fit. Has anyone got a recommendation?

Latest FordPass app update ( android anyway) available. 3.29. Don't know what happened to 3.28 as my last update was 3.27.1 Who cares, it doesn't work properly whatever update you do.

Just noticed 1 difference. The notification that I had 1 message when I hadn't has gone.
When I collected my car today, my sales guy tried to get Ford Pass to work. It connected but wouldn't go any further.
He was very apologetic but said every car that went out so far this morning (I was there at lunchtime) had the same problem with Ford pass. Does seem crap!
Is that an issue with activating the charging card? (tbh I haven't even had a chance to look at that yet...)

He was very apologetic but said every car that went out so far this morning (I was there at lunchtime) had the same problem with Ford pass. Does seem crap!

I eventually did it on the laptop and it worked fine. Also - my FordPass app stopped working yesterday - just crashed when trying to connect to the car. Just watched this interesting comparison video with Audi Q4 E-Tron (Mach E wins, just!) (160) Ford Mustang Mach-E v's Audi Q4 e-tron - Can German cool tame the (electric) wild horse? - YouTube

He makes an interesting point about the door buttons - will they work in freezing conditions? Particularly thinking of those winter evenings when it pours down, then skies clear, temperature plummets, and everything freezes! Will we be able to get in our cars?!?! Presumably it will be our Scottish friends who will find this out first!!!

I had to use the chat in FordPass twice to get it to work in the end.

You can't activate your FordPass charging network card via the app. It has to be done via your Ford account on-line
