Didn't have any issues, just used the Fordapp....How did you set departure time given the Detroit issue in Ford Pass? Or did you work with Detroit time?

I can't be arsed with all the flaffing about, I set the E-Heater on, temperature 21c screen/footwell and crack on! I enjoy driving the car (that's why I bought it) so if it's less mileage then so be it, I'd rather just enjoy it and not worry about range or efficiency (within reason of course!). I find that most of my journeys are less than 150 a day so it's no hassle. Longer journeys, I just make sure I stop and charge when I hit 50% until I know I have enough miles (plus 40 as a safety margin) to get home. I didn't give heating a second thought before in an ICE so I'm just going to crack on with that mentality. So what is the best strategy for low energy, low hassle demisting the front windscreen?
Using the demist in-screen element and no heating I had an efficiency of 3kw/mile at 11 Celcius compared to 3.5kw/mile that I am averaging. I don't think that is too bad but the constant dance with the demister button is annoying.
I read on one of the USA posts that this works really well in the summer, when you don't need it. I can't see how this works (I can't feel it at all when I tried). I think Ford should just fess up and tell everyone what the crack is with the heating. I agree with you, the 'advice' from their 'Engineers' was rubbish...how can turning it off work?!?!?1With Eheat turned off, the other source of heat is supposed to come from the battery cooling system.
Mainly aesthetic. Main thing I noticed was the pro app shows if the car is locked or not. What’s the differences?
They both display pretty much the same info - but the Pro version is more fleet orientated. Will say the Pro version does look much nicer though. What’s the differences?
You are correct. Still can't get it to work, at least on this road trip. They both display pretty much the same info - but the Pro version is more fleet orientated. Will say the Pro version does look much nicer though.
Pro version doesn't have the MyJourneys or the Route planner (which Grahame will jump in immediately to say it doesn't work anyway LOL) - it will come down to personal preference I guess.
[EDIT: Just as an extra - Pro version also doesn't give you any charging ETA's when the car is on charge]
So the last installed OTA can be found in: System Settings --> System Updates. (see photo)This is probably mentioned within the 800 pages but how do you see what OTA version you are currently on? I can't see it anywhere in settings in the car or Fordpass?
It's that dodgy old Android phone of yours ?You are correct. Still can't get it to work, at least on this road trip.
