Awesome, glad you're confirmed as being on the manifest too! ?

Appreciate the info on the Antwerp side of things, i'm sure (or perhaps hopeful) they've sorted their process out to streamline things, Early May is fine by me if i'm honest, been waiting since Q1 2021, so another month or so won't kill me ?

My dealer is in Barnsley, but that's only because my dealership where i live were fairly useless haha.

Keep me posted about 'Big Orange'?! - You got a name for her yet? ?
Well I’m working with the following list from Google of ā€œgive me a list of Orange thingsā€ā€¦

Clementine
Cheeto
Charmander
Charmeleon
Hobbes
Kumquat
Nemo
Pumpkin
Tigger

Maybe I should do a poll on the forum

Yes I’m confirmed as on the Torino as well ? (see screenshot in previous post)

Well my last experience of a Mach-E going through Antwerp wasn’t great (and I’m sure there’s quite a few people on here that can relate to last years debacle) I was lucky as mine had a bit of help from the Ford fairy to expedite it’s delivery.

Some cars were stuck for weeks (like 10-15 weeks) and some were there for even longer, but I think they’ve got their ? together there now and they are taking about 3 weeks from Antwerp to Dagenham.

As a rough guess I’d say
- unload on 28th March in Antwerp
- roughly 2 weeks of faffing with QA checks and Customs
- a couple of days to transfer to Vlissingen in NL
- 1 day to ship to Dagenham UK
- 1-2 weeks in Purgatory (Dagenham compound)
- Transport to dealership by late April early May
- PDI and prep by Dealership

So an early May delivery ETA is probably about right :)
How weird would it be if you took delivery on 26 May. Deja vue

I have to give Pomini credit, Big Jaffa does have a ring to it, but has some unfortunate urban dictionary connotations ?

And YES! I think a poll is the way forward, someone is bound to have a corker that just works! ?

As for mine, not a clue - got Space White coming so i'm open to suggestions haha.

Big Jaffa LMAO

Juicy, seedless, and easy to peel - hmmmmm ?

As for yours - depends on if it's gonna be a girl or a boy, but white horse themed names with a space twist would be good.

Actually - here's one - "Maximus" he was the White Horse in Disney's Tangled. He was funny!

? - nice, i'll have a look on that theme, Maximus sounds good. I'm thinking as i keep referring to the white pony as 'her / she' it'll have to be a female name...

Let me know when you've decided on a name for Big 'O' haha.

Right then, question for you guys.
Has anyone on here ACTUALLY had their windscreen recall done. If you have, did the dealer themselves do it or did they call in a windscreen specialist to do the job? The reason I ask is because the 2 main companies that my dealer use are REFUSING to do the job, even though my car and the dealers' demo car are both having replacement screens and not a removal/re-adhesion. I can understand an issue with potential damages with the latter but the former is worrying. What is concerning is that if we need a replacement for any reason other than this recall will they do it then or are we going to have this problem then as well.
If anyone has had it done, please let me know who did it for you so I can get mine done.
Thanks in advance.

I've just been booked in for mine on 8th April allowing time for the screen that was ordered today to be delivered. Having seen your post earlier I asked "Who would be fitting it?" ... and the response was "our local windscreen fitter."

That to me says not a national chain, but a local independent automotive glass fitter.

So yes it does pose an interesting question about if you break you screen due to a stone or something - who you gonna call?
