She's due to dock in the early hours. I think unload will be sometime mid morning Tuesday.

ETA to dealer is the end of April - so about another 4 weeks. We've got Easter slap bang in the middle of all that as well so I'm personally guessing on 1st week of May.

Am still wrangling the numbers with the dealership at the moment, their buy back /trade in figure for Big Red has fallen well short (by several thousand £) of what other trade-in services are quoting. I'm confident we'll get to where we need to be

SO excited... currently (effectively) watching a live stream of GT sitting at the docks ? - hopefully they can offload the vehicles fairly rapidly and sort out the paperwork a lot swifter than previous! I'll be asking my dealer for ETA's as soon as i see the GT leave port.

If you have any further insights, please do let me know. Hoping for an early May delivery, but sooner would be very welcome.

I hope Big Red gets the price he deserves!

Interesting I thought only Orpington dealt with all Mustangs in the area. Have Bromley updated your software to 1.7?

Im not sure. They say they carried out the fix. The revision version is still -- but it now says software is up to date (which is the first time it's changed from 1.7.1 since it tried to install). However, I dont have notes etc. So in the end I have no idea.

Originally when first reservations were being made back in the day it was only Ford Store dealers that were allowed to sell the MME. They then had numerous smaller dealers complaining that they weren't allowed to sell them so Ford let other dealers in on the act. I think originally there were 60 ish dealers, now there is over 100.

They are being unloaded now, but it will take 24 - 48hrs for the various tracking systems to update.

On Ford's system (and whereismyMME) you should see it change to "COMPOUND IN" with a location of ANTWERP, and on Grimaldi's RORO tracker you should update to "DISCHARGED"

Lets see how many weeks customs and QA takes this time ?

Well after a few phone calls and long chats with the service manager, my car is now booked in for April 11th to have the recalls and software updates done. They should have the right windscreen in stock as the service manager phoned me two weeks ago to ask for some numbers printed on the screen so it could be identified. With that info he told me it was now on order for me, so I would have the correct part. Are there different ones? In any event there was one number he was particulary concerned about.
The service dept phoned me this am to confirm that they were all ready and a Mach-E would be available for my use while it's all being done.

Should I be over the moon or crossing all my fingers???

pardon my ignorance what does that all actually mean ?

I guess it’s stuck in Mexico on the dockside. I might look on ford stock if any GTs are on 2 weeks delivery ??

Ignorance well and truly pardoned

There are two status messages in play here, but the one that tends to be most useful during shipping tracking is the VMACS status codes. During the transport of your car from factory to dealership it moves from one vehicle handling centre to another. Every time it checks in somewhere its marked "COMPOUND IN" with a date and location identifier.... and when it exits that location you get a "COMPOUND OUT" message with another date and location.

From the information you provided I'm going to take a stab that your "OUT" at the end of Feb was at VERACRUZ (the docks where the cars are loaded onto the ship in Mexico). That means you were probably loaded onto the Grande Torino which docked at Antwerp in the early hours of Tuesday.

If you want to send me a Direct message on here with your VIN number I can look it up to see where it is and definitely confirm if it was in this latest shipment.

You are very lucky. My new screen has been on order for 7 weeks now and Ford have still NOT delivered it to my dealer. My dealer is going to do the roof/software recalls next week. They still haven't found someone to do the windscreen even IF it arrives. What a total shambles this is.

Unfortunately still nothing this morning! Was supposed to have been unloaded and on its merry way by yesterday evening, but still seems to be moored - presumably still unloading.

One day overlap i can deal with, but hopefully it doesn't have a knock on effect for the clearance side of things and all vehicles can make their way to Amsterdam relatively swiftly!

That being said, directly alongside the Torino is the Chopin (Belgian Tanker), so it might just be a case that the ship has unloaded and they're simply re-fuelling for the next leg of their journey...

Do you have a MME on the Torino as well?

Not that i want to contradict what Wonkey has said, as he is the godfather of this forum ?

BUT...

I am 99% sure your vehicle is on the Grande Florida which left Veracruz on the 8th March, directly correlating to your status change - it looks like it's due to dock in Antwerp on Sunday 3rd April, so not far behind the Torino.

I don't have the manifest / shipping number to hand to check for you, but Wonkey might be able to help in that regard - it's also possible that your shipping tab in wheresmymme will update soon and give you the shipment number, at which point you can check against your VIN to be sure it's on that vessel.
