I find the Garmin sat nav hopeless and the GPS in my phone freezes so made a sat nav mount for my trusty Tomtom. Fits nicely between screens, no holes drilled in anything and nothing will rub or mark the dash. I have a template somewhere if any one wants a scan. I paid approx £10 for materials on ebay. Would work great for a phone too.

The wait will be worth it, I'm sure. From ordering to delivery I waited 15 months altogether. I'm so glad I did.
My suggestion to you regarding charging in your unique situation is this. If you have access in the car park to your own parking spot and supply I think I would be tempted to get someone to run a feed so that you can use the supplied Variopower charger with the Commando plug attachment. This is what I use and all it required was a 50amp fuse in my main fuse box, a secondary fuse box with a 32amp fuse and cable. The commando socket was £32 from Amazon (in 2020). It was a simple installation (for me) and a lot cheaper than a wall box even with the grant. If you don't have a dedicated parking bay then I think you may have a problem as there would be NO guarantee that you would be able to get onto the socket to plug in. Good luck.

thank you for the information. I own the parking space in the car park and the walls around the car park space so I can fix the wall box to the wall. I have an electrician coming to look next week. I will probably get a new consumer unit added to my supply in the meter room and get the armoured cable run from that consumer unit to my garage and have the commando socket on the end of the armoured cable.

I use Waze on Android Auto, has speed cameras' real time traffic and police (which has saved me a number of points!)

That's for the Local Hazard Info only - I was interested in the Blue Oval Charge Network Renewal cost - and that's the one that bombs out when you try to renew it.

This is what Ford customer service quoted me today by phone conversation.
I waiting in next 72 hours to send me more info about ways to renewal ( web page fix or by phone ).

I have found the hazard warning very helpful especially in dark winter evenings warning you about a broken down car ahead.

Does anyone know where the hazard information actually gets its data from? I've rarely found it to be accurate, especially compared to Waze. Would actually prefer to turn it off really.

UK folks, what kind of ranges and consumption are you getting in this weather?

i was away for two weeks on vacay and returned to warmer weather. i have done only local drives thus far and for my 4X am getting 3-5.2 m/kwh. average seems to be 3 m/kwh.

i haven't charged fully so am not relying on my GOM.
