None of these sites take cars with outstanding finance do they?
Yep - WeBuy paid off my outstanding finance with Ford Credit and gave me the balance into my bank account.

To do this you need to get a printed settlement quote from the finance company just before your appointment and bring it when you take the car in.

A years worth of ownership with almost no loss of value. Good deal.

I’ve had mixed dealings with WBAC, but can definitely recommend Motorway. They have been excellent When I have used them.

Yes, I had a phantom update today as well. I noticed the SYNC system was very sluggish when I switched on the car. It almost looked like an old 286 PC drawing a Windows 3.1 screen. Then it suddenly caught up to speed and the download icon appeared at the top of the screen.
Yet another phantom update yesterday. I knew something was up as it didn't start when I pressed the start button but it did when I switched off and then back on again.

Edit:

Also the car didn't seem to know where it was and at one point we were travelling through fields and a river. Managed to stop safely and performed a soft SYNC reset, then switched off and on again and all was OK.

Did you have any trouble with webuyanycar trying to knock you down on the online valuation? The list price of my SR RWD when I ordered it March 21 was £41300 so I paid £38300 with the EV grant. Wbac currently suggesting £40450 and going up, I may be looking to sell towards the end of the year so hoping values hold up!!!
you might want to consider EV specialists, I contacted a guy James from WeareEV based in Bristol whom offered a very decent price (more than motorway and WBAC) would have picked up from my home (scotland) FOC. In the end I sold to a dealer in Chorley I’d had some previous dealings with. Gets picked up tomorrow. Good luck if you decide to sell. ?

Grahame, you'll need to rebuild your garage all over again! ?
The house we are in at the moment to really to big for 2 so was thinking of downsizing. Think I might move into the garage and convert the house for the Ranger. Not sure on what Louise would make of that.  Still I have a few years to get her used to the idea. ??

Must tell my wife but I know the result.
She will sleep in the house, I will be in the garage and my car outside ??

Since i got let down by the ev point installer (third company) had to charge at the tesla supercharger in Manchester. Worked perfectly first time, but got some looks when i pulled up and plugged in. Very expensive 62p per kwh, but charged from 5% to 85% in about 30 mins.
