Be mindful if your hire car is provided by Enterprise. My 5 month old Mache as been in my local ford dealer since 12 th October. The dealer provided me with a petrol fiesta.
ford uk arranged an hire car through Enterprise for me a Nissan Qashqai went to pick it up on Saturday morning from my local Enterprise hire centre. Only to be asked to sign up to :-
£500 excess for any damage per panel also £500 excess for any chips or windscreen damage ??? however if I paid £10 per day for full damage waiver that might be a way forward ???. I refused Fords hire car and am now back in the dealers Fiesta. Whilst my full rejection of my Mach e is settled.
Yep, mine is from Enterprise, they tried it on with me but as mine is a Company car I put it on our insurance...had it a week and god I miss my Mach E!!

the models on Ford uk are now 'select' 'premium' and 'GT' and it looks like the equiv of an RWD ER is now the premium plus the tech+ pack and just under £62k. unless I have misunderstood it.

You are correct. I paid a visit to my dealer earlier and we did a little finance exercise and it works out that if I bought the same spec'd version as mine (2021 job 1 ER RWD) putting the maximum deposit down (35%) on a 37 month pcp my monthly payments would be more than double than they are now. According to my dealer enquiry levels have fallen off the cliff. Now some of that is due to the current situation but mostly I think Ford have overpriced the cars. They are so close now to their main rivals, Audi, Merc, Kia and Hyundai.

Overpriced and to many faulty cars out there.
plus uk customer service is dire (certainly in my case) hope others have faired better.

How do I get it? Can I get it through my dealer?
I was under the impression that Job 1 cars, those that had the stupid divider panel in the frunk, weren't able to have the update. If, as has been mentioned, we can get it via our dealers then the likleyhood is that you would have to pay for it as it doesn't fall within the remit of a "freebie" from Ford

If you contact the Ford Customer Care team they will instruct the dealer to do the updates under warranty if your mache isn't automatically updating.

Nope

Evanshalshaw eventually agreed they can fix the uploading of s/w updates after Ford intervention but couldnt do it as they don't have anyone technically trained available (that was 25th Oct) and I was told to wait a month! That's the alty branch.

And I've been too busy to chase up but will soon.
