At the risk of being another WD stalker, did I pass you today, I was on way back from Bath district past Andover towards Newbury?? I saw a few Machies and one was your colour!!
LOL - new game - “Where’s Wonky” spot my car win a prize!

The old Cyber Orange is getting a bit common now - they’re everywhere. Sadly to have seen me today you’d have to be a proper stalker as the car has been on the driveway all day in Norwich. ?

But there’s 400miles of opportunity tomorrow

Sods law, had some issues with my home charger so had a Company loaner whilst that was sorted so at present around 53k. Second (2 year service, I had the 1 year and then they changed to 2!!) is due in July and then new car at 80K... I've got some decent long trips over May so am chasing your tail, I reckon you still have the highest mileage Mach E in the UK!
55,620 now and still an amazing driving experience, even full of tools, virtually drove itself for large parts of journey M40, A34 etc with a bit of nagging to place hands back on wheel? though hands were always on wheel. The new Mich Cross Climate 2s are performing really well, far better than those hooky Conti summer tyres it came with. Bit of a bearing-type noise from RWD transmission, or is it me??‍♂ will have to get dealer to check it out, it’ll have to be serviced before 60k. What a car, though……….still. Sure I’ll be running it into the ground, can’t see me wanting to change it anytime soon if at all.

Anybody’s puddle lights gone like this, with all stars around the Mustang logo? Or have they always been like this and I never noticed??‍♂

I know someone else who had the same issue - I think the dealer replaced / fixed them.

I am quite sure my next car will be a Tesla.
I test drove a Tesla model Y the day before the Mach E - it simply wasn't comparable (I expected it to be way better) this car had FSD (£8K) lane keeping is way better and disengagements way less in the Mach E

Thnx WD. Better rent a van for a week and leave it with dealer for this, any software updates, the transmission whine and 2yr service, can you think of anything else?

Never driven one but examined one last week for some body damage, gaps & panel fit on Tesla are far better than Mach-e, screen & display seemed a lot better, there are loads of critical reports of reliability & quality of product even by the approved bodyshop specialising in Tesla repairs though I have not experienced or had any involvement in any formal contract dispute claims against Tesla or their sellers. They look nowhere near as stylish as the Mach-e IMO and how could they with no motoring heritage like Ford with their Mustang design though the ages, but obvs, it’s in eye of the beholder.

Agree about the tyres, I put Cross Climate 2's on before it snowed and they were brilliant, got used to the back end having a bit of a slide if I was doing 30 around a bend on a wet day but with these, I get nothing. Definitely more confident driving in the wet and no noticeable downturn in range..

First scrape. Scraped offside rear door black gloss moulding on a concrete pillar when parking in confined space. (Not through choice). As BH emailed dealer to have new moulding fitted. Anyone any idea of cost as paying myself. Don't want to bump up the insurance any more. I did find fitting instructions online as it attaches by clips so I would have thought labour time shouldn't be too bad.

I happen to have some gloss back touch up paint but It's still obvious as the scrape is deep and long.

On the Glassmatix computer aided repair estimating system to which I subscribe indicates the price for the door moulding is that shown in the exploded parts View below, assuming I got model, year etc correct………….

Yes! Exactly right. I'm assuming VAT needs to be added and of course labour as well. In your professional opinion what do you think the ballpark figure would be? I'm not holding you to an exact price as there would be variations on labour rates etc.

Looking on the bright side of life it could have been a lot worse and included paint damage as well.

Assuming I have guessed at correct part for correct model (dealer parts dept usually only too happy to help confirm) and part comes already coloured, it’s only a 0.3hr job so looks like it’s a DIY job, clipped into position as I think you found (?). Full very basic estimate attached which may need labour rate adjusting if you go for commercial repair though any bodyshop should be able to fit it and probably would do it for “a drink” if you already bought the moulding and you chat up a friendly bodyshop as it’s probably not worth them putting it through as a job!
