I can not believe you are actually having this frunk conversation. It's a joke right?

Yes Ford we are all we you on that here. I would like to point out that Quebec is the equivalent to California relative to it's population regarding EV sales, that is where they sales most in Canada. My dealer was at 52 MME from what I know of and it's in a small town. :)
Quel concessionnaire?

Why is the front trunk airtight?

OK, guys, one more time and with feeling... it's about the batteries and OTAs.

My take on the frunk divider, and note, the seal on the frunk is makes it about as airtight as a refrigerator:
Can a child get into the frunk with the divider in place?
Can a stupid frat stuff a pledge into a frunk with a divider?

I'm guessing the divider stays, and for very good reasons.
There is a light inside with a button to push that will open the frunk. So, unless the person in there is unconscious, they should easily be able to get out.

That would really surprise me. From that standpoint (holding a body), it's the same thing as a trunk in every sedan. And those don't have dividers to keep bodies out.
Yeah but this one you can drain to hide the evidence.

I don't like the divider either. I was looking forward to throw stinky bags of fertilizer in there and not stink up the interior. Maybe they still fit, hard to tell without seeing it in person.

It's airtight because nobody wants their car smelling like shrimp and hot wings after the game.

Actually, here in jersey the number of bodies a trunk can hold is an important metric for some buyers...

A lot of people on these forums are going to drive themselves nuts trying to figure out delivery times and delays down to the day. In the greater scheme of things, Mach-e, wise, this isn’t going to matter. Beyond the FE’s, this was destined to be a 2021 delivery anyway thanks to SARS-COV-2.

I’m not sure why JD Powers would see an issue with the divider. put your suitcases and bags in the back and groceries up front. Or just remove it. Like pillow and mattress tags.
it just seems like there could’ve been a better use of space throughout the vehicle, it’s like underneath the floor in the rear of the vehicle - they just filled up with foam rather than giving us a big compartment like Y. Losing that space, and now at least having to work to reclaim the frunk space by removing the divider just shows that the usable space wasn’t prioritized very much

Unless there's been anything actually announced, I'm not ready to write off the frunk divider as being unremovable yet. That would go totally against the selling points Ford has already touted for it.

Hate to tell you this amigo, but that image has been replaced on the Ford site. Probs still removable though.

Many are with them here for sure. Hard not for you Quebecers with the incentives there. Thought about having someone buy it for me in Quebec; then sell it cheap and we split the incentives ;) . Anyone doing that in your small town or will your town have the most MME/pop in the world?

Should make a poll: to divide or not to divide this would be the question.
