Update on Mach-E launch progress from engineering friends in Mexico

I've been getting so antsy, checking the various pages hoping to see a production date, change to in transit, anything to show a sign of life...
Struck out everywhere, but I do now have an icon to activate the vehicle on the Fordpass app, so there's a glimmer of hope in my despair.

Had that yesterday, couldnt do the activation buttttttt today was the day i saw everything
Production day was today according to the JSON output.

I may be in the minority here, but I think that's an extremely ugly color. I love the color orange, and it's my favorite color in general. But I don't even consider that color to be orange, that's closer to school bus yellow to me than orange. I wish they would have used the existing Twister Orange instead of that color.

I don't really consider that orange either. More like harvest gold. But I think it looks WAY better on the Mach-E than is does on a 1970's refrigerator. ?

You might be able to read the most without using a translator as "neighbours"

I think we can figure out most of it. Although if you just happened to change the app language to English and post another set of screenshots, I don't think anyone here would complain. ?

That color might not be bad on a car. It's not too far off from Ford's Hot Pepper Red.

When you get this in the app, your car's been produced. It takes a day or two for the date to populate in the online tracker.

I couldn't resist and tapped "Activate" with hopes of seeing something.. nada. Not sure what that will mean down the road, but couldn't help it...

Damn. That is deep in the heart of Mexico. In my ignorance I assumed Cuautitlán was much further north. Even Hermosillo, birthplace of my PHEV Fusion, is further south than I realized.

Half the time of a delivery to U.S. will be getting to the border.
