Just curious if now that 'OKTB' has been given, does that mean customer units could ship along side dealer demo units? I guess what I'm getting at is, it would be a shame for customer vehicles to sit in Mexico, only so dealerships can get their demo units.
lol hold on see you guys are reading and saying things not out there,
No oktb is given. the mache is good to go again but the whole process is not ago. The hold us is shipping so if that is the hold-up, then we don't know how, when where they are shipping, what amount are dealers, what amount are customers. Hince shipping is the hold-up.
Once that is out then can pass on.

@trutolife27 Thank you for your info. I am happy that everything with the car is g2g. I cant even imagine how hard its gojng to be to ship across the border with closures and preventative measures in place. Getting closer to the holidays will just make things worse with shippers and trucks busy with parcel shipping. I know Ford and everyone is trying hard. It sucks to say this but it might better for them to just wait. Its like ppl who pay for faster shipping but get it at the same time as free shipping, sometimes its not worth the cost.

Glad you changed your mind @trutolife27, i dont want to go off topic but i think you and the other insiders being here makes this forum. Without u guys this would be a dead site. @Administrator we should maybe consider some moderators in the future to keep things civil we cant expect @Administrator to do everything

The mache is good to go with OKTB but the hold up is getting the shipping plan into effect. The mache is no flaws ready to go everything has passed have a drink and enjoy your family.

The hold up is getting the logistics done with shipping. Ford wants to move around 3,500 units in the next 3 weeks.
I'm not saying you will have 3,500 at dealers sold and consumers have in 3 weeks. I'm saying by the last second of the third week they want 3,500 loaded and on the move.
Thanks for the update and its great to hear that the MME as a vehicle is fine and its logistics issues.

My interpretation is that at this point OKTB green light or not is not that critical because the vehicles are fine , production is continuing and Ford is figuring out the shipping process. The OKTB then is a soft green light than a hard one as I do believe they will continue shipping as many as they can. And somewhere along the timeline before customer deliveries, OKTB will be official and customer delivery can happen. In the meanwhile all activities are going on as best as they can.

Thanks again for the update .

anything happens past is done gone. we don't bring it up. move on and how about we talk ev talk like this forum is for.

What do you guys think of the ford VW partner ship making a EV on a VW platform?
What about the big new grille on the BMW ev? why its ev does it need that?
what do you guys think about the news of tesla in china and not meeting range and battery not holding up?
what do you guys think of General motors catching so much heat for how they played both sides of the fence. Now they make EV but heck i cant afford those models.

What ev news is out there that we can talk?

I had to fill my gas tank today and it made me all giddy and excited all over again thinking about how I won't have to do that anymore soon

Another topic who here has charged a ev at a DC fast charger? sitting there and hear and can sometimes feel the popping of the heat expanding in the battery pack and think WTF lol.

if you never been in a EV your get to experience a lot of little things that ICE doesn't do.

Intro - Couldn't agree more. Thanks.

1. Ok, if it works for Ford, though I still remember Dieselgate.
2. Big but at least it is horrible. Really, from a form follows function, they get rid of the ICE and then add a BIGGER grill. Ridiculous.
3. Somehow not surprising.
4. Never been a fan of GM for a zillion reasons, and this is typical. They deserve all the heat they get. The minute Trump is out they switch sides. No principles at all.

andy can I call you andy?
Have a seat here. Now my brother nothing I said is about what is produced. They could have 10 made or 10,000.
What info I'm passing on is ford's goal is to try to have 3,500 shipped in the next 3 weeks. so from Monday (IF THE GET THINGS WORKED OUT) count 3 weeks and by that last second on the third week, 3,500 are loading and on the way.

Hope you can hang in there and wait for your mache. It's worth all the wait we all are having to accept. Nothing we are going to buy right now will be perfect. Hopefully, things will turn around.
That’s what I figured on shipping.

Let me tell ya...I’m super excited about the MachE as someone who has driven BEVs for 6 years. And as everyone in my immediate sphere can attest, I haven’t been this excited about any EV ever (and haven’t shut up about it for a year). That makes it even more difficult knowing that it may just not work out for me now with the, let’s say, unanticipated leasing and options numbers we’ve heard.

But I know the car is going to be awesome enough for me to exhaust every angle I can to get it in my garage once it’s delivered.

In 6 years I’ve only had to use DC Fast charging twice and both times I plugged it in and walked away. That would freak me out!

I've been reading and watching more about 800 volt systems and it sounds like it has a lot of promise for faster charging times. It was in the news this week with Hyundai's E-GMP announcement.

And bidirectional power is cool! You can power your house or the grid, or even give your buddy's EV some extra kWh to get home.

It will be great to see this get picked up quickly. Maybe mid-cycle refreshes on the MME and ID4. ?

In the Bolt all you can hear is the fans, its like every fan in the entire car comes on full blast...and that is only 50kW.

and man those fans get cranking. The tesla model 3 has a launch mode aka track mode in the performance model. The fans start getting load also in the mode.
