Update on Mach-E launch progress from engineering friends in Mexico

All depends on how much faster they ramp up production in the new year.

Here's hoping they receive the vaccine down in Mexico and there's some light at the end of a long, dark tunnel. Priority given in Q1 for health care workers, first responders, nursing home residents and people over 65 (especially with comorbitities) along with educators and some other groups (Moderna vaccine is just FDA approved which will help reach more people). Q2 is when the rest of the population can receive it so maybe they'll ramp up production then.

Good for you - bad for me. I didn't make a reservation and ordered from my dealer 10-11-2020. Now I'm wondering if I'll even get a model year 2021 Mach E. ?

If Ford sends out a dealer FCTP before a customer retail reservation, that is a mistake that will get fixed.

I found your post VERY funny. I get an email EVERY time someone posts on this forum. In short keeping up with posts even when they go meandering everywhere is not difficult. I know I get frustrated when someone asks the same question that was answered like two or more days ago.

I also think everyone here is EXTREMELY frustrated when many of us have been waiting OVER a year to get our cars. Humor TODAY with pandemic and total uncertainty in life is DESPERATELY needed. So EVERYONE needs to take a chill pill and when someone says something funny/sarcastic and your comment was like OBVIOUS and I truly enjoyed it. Sooooooo DO NOT SHUT UP. I enjoy the banter until it gets really out of hand and I enjoy the humor. It helps to make life in today’s world livesble. NONE of us here have ANY idea what the NEW normal life is going to be so just sit back, read the forum and when possible laugh at the obvious funny/sarcastic posts.

Ford EV Certified Dealers can provide customers with the opportunity to test drive the Mustang Mach-E in late 2020.

It might be outdated, but I am sure FORD wants to convert remaining reservations to orders instead of switching to ID.4 or Tesla or something else and they are not going to convert without those vehicles getting out. I have seen some guessing, but no official word from Ford that they are delaying test drives in favor of customer deliveries. As someone else has stated, "they don't run on Last out First out but wishful thinking".
