the phones should be locked by password/face recognition. As such it cannot be used to open car. I think you have to actually open up the phone to make it work with the exception of the two preset timing setups.

No, you don’t. That would defeat the purpose of being able to just get into the car with your phone in your pocket. If that were the case, it would be far more convenient to just use the fob.

yep, so many people hate waiting. here one is. I called them, they called the guy to come to see it and he backed out said he is waiting for his bronco.

Seriously... That's tempting. I know it's only a month or two before mine arrives, but still. Complications would be whether could still do the Colorado tax credit and getting time off work.

How many people said they would leave and fly down to get their mache right now. I can think of a few. Well, here it is. And it's closer. I would say next week each week day a person will not buy for many different reasons, there will be some close to people with orders.

My concern about phone as key is when at home our phones sit at the desk charging directly over where the car will park and charge outside. Could be problematic.

The phone needs to be within three feet of the car to open the door. The information can be found in the owner's manual.

Biggest thing for me is that we have been really isolating due to COVID. My mother-in-law and my wife are in vulnerable groups. Going to the local Ford dealer for the Mach-E tour was our biggest outing since March.
