For the last three mornings when I've started my car I've gotten this Ford Power-Up 6.6.0 error message:

Update Postponed
The update was postponed because it was interrupted by another process.
You can schedule a time to retry the update or try updating again when you're ready.

I have Automatic Updates enabled and scheduled daily at 3am.

When I tap "Update Now", turn off the car, get the "Update will start in" countdown timer, and leave the car. When I come back an hour later nothing has happened.

Any ideas how to apply this update?

The website says my 12V is at 70% so I’ll follow the post to get it charged. Thank you!
I had this happen the other night with 6.4. It was because I was plugged in apparently. The next day, after unplugging, I hit ā€œupdate nowā€ and it worked.

I had this issue come up with 6.8.0, I believe, by refreshing the status of the car in the FordPass while the install was processing. The third time, I made sure not to do that, and it installed without issue.

^^ For me this was the issue, I left the car alone, put the phones out of BT range and the update succeeded.

I'm running into the same issue with 6.8.0, despite my 12V battery being as high as 95% when attempting it. Multiple failed attempts over the last week. Headlights turned off and all cables unplugged, too.

My state of charge on the 12 Volt battery is 81% and the 6.6.0 update has failed 3 times. I think patience is the only solution. Sigh.

I've had this problem when the car was charging at the same time it tried to update. Both the charge and update were cancelled. My car updated the next night when it was not charging.

Same for me on Sunday with 23-PU0722-DC-CHG3. Tried multiple times manually with the same result. owner.ford.com thinks it was successful now, presumably installed after the scheduled time of 11:15PM (no driving in between). So although I suspected the 12V SOC, I'm not completely convinced.

Being plugged in isn't a problem. If my car is home, it's plugged in. Pretty much every update I've ever had while the car is parked was done while it was plugged in.

It has to be above 80% for a minimum of 4 hours.

Thanks. I’ve never seen that message before, so I was wondering. I’ve since gotten 6.6 without getting that (Wasn’t plugged in). Maybe it was just something with that update?
