If 2.5.3 becomes 2.8.3 rolling in the frunk that would be fantastic. Worth the wait.
I hope the Ford team continues to update the Mach-E with new features after the F-150 Lightning comes out. Once they start releasing in May, I have a feeling the devs will be focused on the Lightning and forget about the Mach-E.
Actually, I disagree (and I WANT the frunk release). I’d prefer them to “serve the food as soon as it’s ready”, not “wait until all side dishes are ready before they serve.”

So unlike my Mach-E...which you apparently have to be on a special invite-only list to get access to something you were promised last year...I used FDRS yesterday on my '21 Job 1 F-150 and did about 14 hours of updates to all the modules showing that needed them....and ended up with BlueCruise on my first drive this morning.
That was my experience although I think a couple of people here have said that, once they updated everything in FDRS, more updates appeared that finished the BlueCruise sequence. I just had a two day license but I checked a couple of hours after the last module updated and I still had nothing. So are you saying that if I update all the modules in my Job 1 Mach-E, that I still won't see Blue Cruise at the end of all those updates? According to the "toolbox" list I only have the IPC left to do and I'm doing that first thing tomorrow morning. I'm likely to be in a highly modified state of rapture if this doesn't result in me getting BC like it did on my F-150. I have to wonder why using FDRS would work with the F-150 but not the Mach-E.
And I have no OTA anything showing using the web developer decoder ring. I don't think I've ever gotten one, (that's why I'm doing this with FDRS).

Well I will definitely update this thread if it works. The other folks in the Mach-E FDRS programming thread seem to have gotten to BC functionality by using FDRS, so there's hope.

Meanwhile 2.4.2 installed successfully for me on the first try last Tuesday and since then I’ve gotten nothing. So YMWDV.I had updated everything available in FDRS two weekends ago but hadn't got the email from Ford so no BlueCruise. I got a message last Tuesday that 2.4.2 had failed to install but then 2.4.3 came the same day. 2.4.4 came on Thursday, I went for a drive on Sunday and 2.4.5 installed while I was out. 2.5.2 installed while driving this morning and I just got the message in FordPass that BlueCruise is active. There is hope!
does it help you to know that I never got any 2.5.x but I did get all the 2.4.x, so I don't have BC? so you're not alone.
