Using the Tesla ccs compatible dock

We will be travelling to Moab Utah in 2weeks. I see the Tesla supercharger there now has a ccs compatible plug and will be glad to use it. Is it the case that the dock will connect to our Mach-e without any adaptor? I believe this is the case but would like conformation. I would guess I simply register with the Tesla network and should be good to go? Thanks in advance for the help.

The magic dock is the adapter. Use the Tesla app.

I have the Tesla app. The issue I see is it searches your local area. It doesn’t do long trip route planning. As far as I can tell none of the other route planners show Tesla Chargers with the magic dock as a category. I’m thinking if you don’t know there is one on your route how would you know to go there except to search locally using their app.

if my though is different from real practical use please let me know.

Yeah, I think they’re up to 17 now. There’s even one in Alaska.

Mackinaw City Michigan has the magic dock. Tesla app can show the locations.

Uncheck all options on the left side other than supercharger open to non tesla

Yes, up to 17 locations including Canada.

I think they're waiting for V4 for the big push. magic dock is just so that they can get that yummy federal $$$$
