Hey all,
I don't have bluecruise yet.
I plan on making a crowdsourced 'blue zone' map, so when the OTA does come, people can have a good estimation of which roads will be enabled.
Hopefully with enough data points, this can be a higher fidelity than the lo-res jpg that ford offers.

If folks can reply with places they've seen its active, I'll continuously update this map.

I think it'll be best to stay relatively high level, like 'between exits 5 and 10' rather than excluding specific curves where it'll ask you to put hands on the wheel. Just to keep things manageable to start.

I've edited the original post to switch from photoshop to google maps, which should make this easier... still hoping this gains traction haha

Ok, finally got BlueCruise installed (by dealer, let's not get into that here). I live on the eastside of Seattle, so the nearest blue highway is I-5. Last week I was in downtown Seattle, got on I-5 for a few miles, but I didn't appear to have handsfree available. Maybe that's as designed and would not make sense in that area?

Ford will be putting the maps online/in-vehicle "in May".

I just tried the same… I405N (Kirkland) to I5 (Lynwood) south to I90E (Seattle) to I405 north back to Kirkland. No BlueCruise. Net - travelled from I5 (South) from Lynwood to I5/I90 ~ 20 miles with no BlueCruise.

Not certain if this is a supported Blue Zone???

Cheers

Just also double check in your "about sync" section to make sure that you dont have the same glitch I have. My ford online and my ford pass say my handsfree is good through 05/2025 (just got the car a week ago). But inside the sync menu is says handfree driving supported through 03/14/22. There are other people with the same sync glitch, and I have reported it to the dealership. They are going to contact the regional Ford rep and get the Ford North America connected services team involved.

I wouldn't even know since it appears my BlueCruise is not activated. And I can't activate it either,. I just checked on owner.ford.com says "Activation Pending" but no idea how to go about it. There is no Manage button for BlueCruise, but there is for the other services.

Have you tired again?
Looks like it should be in Fordpass map.
Trying to get down to try it soon.

Noticed Highway 14 along the Columbia is active (only on from 164th St to I-205).

Have been using BlueCruise a lot lately. Did the drive from Seattle to Spokane almost entirely with it and loved it. Here is my contribution to roads I have noticed mapped:

SR 99 Downtown Seattle to West Seattle Bridge
SR 509 from 1st Ave S. Bridge to Des Moines Memorial
SR 99 from 1st Ave S. Bridge to SR 599
SR 599 from SR 99 to I-5
SR 410 from 167 to Bonney Lake

FYI...using BlueCruise with the curves through Snoqualmie Pass will take some getting used to! The really big ones I had to steer, but it took quite a few curves that I was surprised by!

Really? That would be awesome. I was a bit tied up last month, but I do drive I-405 quite a bit. I will try this soon, maybe today. I still suspect there is something wrong with my set up though.

No joy. I rode on I-405N yesterday between Totem Lake and Lynwood, then back down I-405S to Woodinville. Repeatedly tried, BC did not work. Adaptive CC worked as normal. All settings are where they should be. Wasted another hour on the phone with Ford, they called back and told me I had to go to the dealer and have them run SSM 51012. Which has nothing to do with BC.
