I just used my frunk today. I use it regularly. And am reminded of the lack of a release every time I use it ? Ford engineers were bright enough to figure out how to put in a 5 second limit to protect delicate electronics but they can’t master a remote frunk release? ?

This has been Ford’s plan all along to get early adopters to upgrade. It clearly worked on you!

Congrats!
Congrats on the new car/upgrade! I hope you like it!

On Ford pass 4.18.0, I see a frunk button. Would that mean that I'll be able to open my frunk? I can't test it as my car is at the dealer being diagnosed for a dead 12v battery. By the way I have a 2022 AWD extended range premium.

Is there a way to buy a key fob from Europe and program it for a MME in North America?
I would definitely try this if I could get a part number and the frequency was the same.

Even if the frequency isn't the same, it still may be possible.

The frequency is different.
The F150 uses 2 different frequencies and people have converted theirs to add remote start key fobs. I wouldn't be surprised if it's as simple as changing the module.

Do the European cars have it, though? I thought I read that it didn't make it to production for insurance reasons.

We picked up our new Mach-E GT PE on Friday and today I discovered we have a functioning Frunk button in FordPass! ? ? ?

Can you post a screenshot of the FordPass page so I can see what I don’t have. My MME was built 06/28/21
