I was at the gym this morning parked in the lot in my usual general area, and after my workout noticed a message in FordPass that my "security system has detected vehicle inclination and triggered the alarm at 7:42 AM..." That's the first time my car alarm has been triggered and I wasn't on an incline. Is this a known bug? Not sure if it's relevant but it was very misty out. The only other thing that was different is that when I turned the car off before going into the gym it was in drive; I usually put it in park first but decided to just shut it off in drive this time (which I thought was fine to do). I've driven it a few times since with no issues.

I've only gotten this alarm when the car was being jacked up on one side with a floor jack, so it was a legit alarm.

There was a post on here a while back that someone had it happen while parked at the airport so they didn't know for sure if someone had tried to mess with the car, or if it was a false alarm. But I'm not aware of a confirmed false alarm with that alert so far.

I had it happen when a very loud vehicle went by rumbling, like a big motorcycle.

Interesting. The gym is adjacent to train tracks and I was parked in the row that is closest to the tracks, so I suppose it's possible that a freight train triggered it. Still a bit odd since I park there all the time and this is the first time it's happened.
