Hello! For those that don't know, a few of us took our Mach-Es to Canaan Motor Club in Canaan, NH yesterday. There were 2 identical Mach-E GTPEs and a Select Standard Range AWD on the track (along with MANY other EVs).

I am compiling my list (short so far) after my experiences on the track with the Mach-E yesterday. First off, it was SO much fun and the Mach-E was amazing on the track. @narmstrong79 (and anyone) please add to this if you have more or disagree with any of this. :)

1.) I would like to have the option to disable Stability Control completely. Secondarily, reduce the interference even more when enabling Unbridled Extend mode.
2.) Let me know why the vehicle doesn't want to go into Unbridled Extend. For reference, the toggle switch will grey out, disabling that mode. The information states this can happen due to current vehicle conditions. I need to know what those conditions are at that particular time so I can better anticipate this happening (or even avoid it).
3.) Have a track mode button (maybe similar to Tesla?). Each time I turned the vehicle back on while at the track, I had to remember to go through the menus to make sure the driver safety assists were turned off. The one that would always turn itself back on was the "Emergency Braking." (and then remember to turn everything back the way it was before your drive back home)
4.) Have a drag mode (for drag racing or larger tracks with straightaways that would benefit from more output accelerating hard past 70mph.
5.) Allow me to create multiple custom driving profiles. I might want to race on Unbridled Extend, but with the suspension in Engage mode perhaps. I want to tweak and tune each of those options.
6.) I really want the telemetry data and gauges (Much like Mustang GTs). I want to see lateral Gs. I would love to have a lap timer, and maybe even power delivery outputs during certain parts of the track and maybe even see corner exit speeds depending on what I was doing in the car.
7.) It would be really cool (but probably lower on the list for more every driver) if I could adjust front/rear power bias to my liking.
8.) (just an observation, not a want) It appears as though the mi/kWh gauge doesn't go below 0.5.....haha...I think I was below that during laps.
9.) Turn off the lock and double honk when I walk away from the car if it is turned on.
10.) One-button to turn on 360 cameras on the main screen in the HVAC panel or top header of the screen.

I'll add more as I remember but this is a pretty good start.

Great write up. This was my first time at a Track with any car, so my experience and expectations are limited. Also, this was my first time driving a GT-PE, thanks @harrysiii for sharing your toy.

For the GT, Especially the PE. I'd expect (maybe with updates)

(like your #3) the track modes/ Track Apps you find on a ICE GT. Track specific data on screens. With the ability to save, or even extract from FordPass.

Ability to record from the 360 cameras would be fun too, so you can rewatch your laps

Driving the GT-PE after a select AWD (w/ 245 wide tires) I would say the power at the line felt more responsive, the handling thru the corners with speed I felt more in control, whether that was the suspension or the added response from the wheel, or both. And those seats are probably some of the best I've been on.

1.) I would like to have the option to disable Stability Control completely. Secondarily, reduce the interference even more when enabling Unbridled Extend mode. Agreed
Ford let me know, those conditions are "heat". We were driving the heck out of them and they have heat sensors all over the drivetrain, not just the batteries and inverters.
3.) Have a track mode button (maybe similar to Tesla?). Each time I turned the vehicle back on while at the track, I had to remember to go through the menus to make sure the driver safety assists were turned off. The one that would always turn itself back on was the "Emergency Braking." (and then remember to turn everything back the way it was before your drive back home) I don't think we will get this. People will forget them in track mode and go on the street. Or, give us a reminder "you are still in track mode, do you want to stay in track mode"
4.) Have a drag mode (for drag racing or larger tracks with straightaways that would benefit from more output accelerating hard past 70mph. Haven't drag raced it yet, but makes sense.
5.) Allow me to create multiple custom driving profiles. I might want to race on Unbridled Extend, but with the suspension in Engage mode perhaps. I want to tweak and tune each of those options. Solid point!
6.) I really want the telemetry data and gauges (Much like Mustang GTs). I want to see lateral Gs. I would love to have a lap timer, and maybe even power delivery outputs during certain parts of the track and maybe even see corner exit speeds depending on what I was doing in the car. YES! Give us the cameras, the data logger, the g-force, etc. It's all in the car. Unlock it so I don't have to mount a phone or camera :)
7.) It would be really cool (but probably lower on the list for more every driver) if I could adjust front/rear power bias to my liking. Would be fun to be able to play.
8.) (just an observation, not a want) It appears as though the mi/kWh gauge doesn't go below 0.5.....haha...I think I was below that during laps. DITTO!
9.) Turn off the lock and double honk when I walk away from the car if it is turned on. amen!
10.) One-button to turn on 360 cameras on the main screen in the HVAC panel or top header of the screen. Not sure I need this yet.
11.) more widgets - do I need my car to make fart sounds, NO! Is it funny. Sure is! Let us have some fun.
12.) Dash - I would like to have more control over what shows up on the dash itself.
13.) Chimes/Noises - I would like to be able to change/custominze the noises.

I'll add more as I remember but this is a pretty good start.

@harrysiii I’ll start tracking the things mentioned in this thread and add the new things to the Mach-E Improvements Trello board. Already had a few of them but will add the new ones.
Sweet! Thank you. I have not seen this Trello Board but that's a great idea. :)

1. You can. Hold the T/C button to the right of the headlight switch for 10 seconds. I don't know if it truly turns it off but it does say it does. I know on the regular mustang it will.
2. 100% agreed. It should say why it isn't ready.
3. Unbridled extended should disable those assists automatically it basically is the "track mode". Maybe they'll update that at some point as they see this feedback.
4. Yes it needs a drag mode or launch control of some kind.
5. In my opinion it needs to have "my mode" which the regular mustangs have (at least in the digital clusters) to allow you to pick your perfect setup. For example I want to be able to have unbridled with the comfort or normal suspension setting and comfort steering setting. Why can't I customize this? It isn't difficult Ford you've done it on other cars...
6. Yes, having gauges for the track on screen would be great. It should even show you things like power output per motor, etc. I don't expect too much from Ford for this because they've never really done it on any car more than a few gauges in the cluster for engine temps, etc.

Unless they made a change for the GT/GTPE, that only turns off traction control. Per the manual stability control cannot be turned off.

They did. I don't know if it is a PE only feature or GT too.

They haven't released the GT manual yet except in the vehicle touchscreen as far as I know.

I'm def going to try this to confirm, because that would be awesome. The manual (I believe) along states Unbridled Extend turns off TCS and reduces Stability interference.

Correct. Unbridled extended reduces TC and ESC. It is like 'track mode' on the Mustang coupe. It won't actually turn TC completely off even if it says it if it is like the Mustang coupe. Won't let you do a burnout but will let it spin pretty good and slide a little bit before it kicks in.

I giggled like a little girl when I realized you can turn ESC off on the GT (or maybe only GT PE, not sure).

I'm going to test this and see if I get anything. Pushing the button does turn off TCS. I will test holding it for Stability changes.

Update; just tested: I do get that "AdvanceTrac Off." Is that actually Stability control, or something else? I did get the same warning on my screen that I get when enabling Unbridled Extend mode. I can tell you Unbridled Extend does not completely disable Stability Control.

It's the other way around. You can turn off TC and Unbridled Extend Turns off TC. ESC doesn't turn all the way off. You can feel it, and you can see the icon appear on the dash when it intervenes.
