Ford disables FOBs detected within the vehicle when locking the car using the keypad.

Therefore, yes you can leave your FOB in the car and no, the door will not open to anyone without the proper keypad code or another FOB/PaaK.

I assume the alarm would be set off and I'm not sure how that's handled. Someone else who has tested that would probably be better able to answer.

I have heard the 400+ mile range request before, but my bladder doesn’t make it that far lol, I would be happy with 250 miles at 80% charge.

But your bladder doesn't have anything to do with charging, or does it?
