What would make you cancel your Mach-E reservation and buy something else?

My wife also drives the 300h. It’s a really nice car and very well put together, certainly better than my MS.

Remember the higher range of the I-Pace is the result of software tweaking various aspects of the drivetrain, as well as Jaguar freeing up a bit of the battery reserve. At the prices I’ve seen, it is worthy of consideration.

Delaying a purchase of this vehicle to read about owner experiences is priceless.

You know its bad when you hop on a forum and immediately see a thread entitled:
"How many days has your I-Pace been in the shop?"
I've read quite a few threads just like this on the Tesla forum. Despite this, the owner satisfaction (for me, an equally important criteria) is extremely high with both Teslas and the I-Pace.

On that same forum you quoted, I’m sure you saw the thread asking if you could get your money back, would you return your I-Pace? The almost universal response was, no way! They love their car. So I wanted to throw that in to be fair & balanced. With that said, there’s no guarantee we won’t be seeing threads just like the one you quoted, right here. After all, this is Ford’s first attempt at anything like this.

On a different note, the I-Pace’s interior is gorgeous. I wish my MS looked that good!

De France... for the date !!!!
Interesting that even the base models show 2020 in France. Clearly only the premiums were slated for delivery in 2020 in the US even from the launch.

Well, maybe. The trims are different in Europe. The non-AWD there probably isn't the same as the Select base model here. Seems to be more about choosing options packages there, and it's possible only the "Premium-like" packages are available initially there too.

The UK site is still saying 2020 for all models (which may be a bit optimistic)

Have a look at ford.co.uk and play with the configurations - our options are all pretty much bundled into 4 models. :)

In the Netherlands it is very simple.
Of course we have the first edition.
But beside that temporary offer, we have just two versions.
The AWD and the RWD.
Both can be selected with the standard or with the extended battery.
That's it.
Additionally you can add a technology pack or a pack plus.
That cost you a couple of thousand euro but gives you the extra goodies.
And my dealer told me that we get 2000 vehicles and that they, for sure, will be delivered before the end of this year.

Exactly the same in Switzerland, no more FE on the Ford site but delivery date is still late 2020... fingers crossed.... ;)

That is not really a "date"; it is just a vague target on a web page that in no way represents a firm commitment to anything.
