If EV's didn't exist, what car would you have instead of your Mach E?

Good question. Our lease was up on the 2018 Fusion Energi, so we bought it out to sell it. It was a lousy traveling car due to no room in the trunk, but had great efficiency and low mileage. Likely would have kept it because had no pressing need for a car, but the Mach-E was out and we were retiring so timing was right. Now we're waiting for the Explorer EV, which is 2025 vs. 2023 previously - due to the success of the Mach-E.

I'd still have my Mazda CX-5, been through like 4-5 mazda's in my life and never had any major issues with them. I plan on looking into the CX-90 to replace my minivan soon.

Both Sonny Boy and I really liked our two Fusion Energis (2013 and 2015) until they got older and started their inevitable old car declines, which over time leads into money-pit status. I had just over 120 thousand miles on my 2015 when I traded it for the Mach E.

Wow!

We got to around 80,000 with our 2010 Fusion Hybrid, but the 2018 Energi was under 17,000.

A Model Y and GT conv 2025 Mustang ICE. Wildcard would be a C class Benz but they are small.

My other car is a Pacifica PHEV. I donated a ‘06 MINI Cooper and sold a ‘12 Lincoln MKZ when I got the MME. I would have kept them if I hadn’t gotten the MME.

My F150 powerboost of course. I like the MME for hop-in-and-go that EVs present, and the fact it's 1/10th the price to 'fuel' for the same mileage. I love my truck though. My regular drives (9/10) are ~1 mile. Then when it's time to actually make a trip somewhere, I try to take the truck, but then the little voice speaks up "it's really cheap to drive that other one, and it's fun".

The truck drives and rides amazing though, and its lane centering system works better than the MMEs. The truck is also faster to 100, but I can't exercise that one too often :D

I’d still be happily in my Acura RDX SH-AWD Advance. Love that car, but EV is for me.

Not really the same type of car at all, but I’d love for my next car to be an old school Benz 1954 190SL convertible.

Porsche GT3 and 996 Turbo, and F350 Super Duty. Mach-E fills in a great spot between them. 70% of my miles are Mach-E.
