Do you think monitoring works for our batteries? What data do you monitor now?

My understanding has been that monitoring is largely an exercise in futility, and we're better off just replacing the battery at 3 years or so.

Got the Ford app alert a couple days ago. I got the car in January 2021 so almost made the 5 year mark.

Charged the new battery to 100% on the trickle charger overnight before installing it.

Was pretty easy to install. Just take off the driver side nut on the crossbar and loosen the other side, the bar slides out of the way. No need to remove the frunk tub.

14.5V is the charging voltage, not the battery voltage reading. Right?

My 2021 was built in November 2020. I am obtaining a new 12v battery next Friday when the dealer wants to install the software update and put on my winter wheels Michelin cc2
