I phoned the three NON ADM dealers in my area and let them know I was looking for a Mach E with the extended range, didn't matter Select, CA1, Premium.
Your location suggests that you and I are loosely neighbors and that one of those dealers was Morgan Hill. Which are the other two if I may ask? Cypress and Salinas both told me they were but I didn't believe them as much as Morgan Hill.

Do I have them right or does the Central Coast mean something different?

Hello, I purchased the Mach E CA RT 1 iconic silver, I got it mid November. I chose this one because of the range. Radio sounds loud enough for me, It has intelligent cruise control, glass roof, auto hold, one pedal drive etc and the pony lights.
Question, are those "pony" lights exclusive to the Route 1 trim?

If you mean the pony's that show on the ground...all Mach-E's have them.

I'm not the one in the central coast, I'm in SoCal

Yes. The mustang logo on the floor. Good to know that all Mach-Es have them. Thank you.

2 things unique to the CaRt1 trim: the aero covers on the wheels and the Rt1 badge on the back.

So a little update to this post, I ended ordering a Mach E GT on 1/1/2022, I just got a VIN and build date today, 3/28/2022, that was quick, my plan was July delivery since I was told it's 8 months for the GT.

We park in a garage and specifically want the power tailgate as you can set it to not open fully, thus saving the paint from hitting the door if you have a low ceiling garage. Can't do that with the manual tailgate... someone has to just stand there and hold it all the while it is open.
Yeah. I back it in for that reason and the charger door makes cord work better and less tripping. Let the tailgate go and no risk of hitting the door. Without the exhaust fumes it's much easier to unload and if it needs a tow... facing out is always better. Win win.

Do some forum searching, there are a lot of cases where the back tailgate will open for no apparent reason. That has resulted in the tailgate getting scratched up as it hits the door. There have also been people who have reported coming out to their car with the tailgate opened in their driveway.

That is the reason why I had mentioned it seems to be more of a hazard than good.
Love my manual tailgate.

It seemed like a stripped down select with some fancy badges to con people into paying a premium for it. In my mind, I would have been losing tons of features for a difference of 35 miles in range. Seemed silly.
Nah. Just getting a cheaper Premium with extended battery. Aside from AWD, heated seats, steering wheel and tailgate, stereo -- its way better then my Premium '13 Mustang. I also liked the white /black combination and the seat style stitching on the CA RT1 is beautiful.

Ford store Morgan Hill is the real deal. They have always sold their vehicles prior for $400 above invoice. Destination dealer volume based. Sales guys don't rely on commission but with volume. I bought many vehicles until moving away. They were my fallback plan. I plan to order a Maverick with them when the '23's are open.

Was considering one but the lack of heated seats and steering wheel was a deal killer. I was shopping for vehicles on the lot, not special order.
AWD, heated seats, steering wheel all options now on CART1 '22
