PAAK worked fine for me for a while. Then, it stopped working. Wouldn't connect. So today, for fun, I decided to give it one more try. I didn't bother before because I don't really care, although it is nice to not have to grab the fob to just go put something in it (until Ford adds "don't lock on walkaway if in my garage).
Anyway, I'm sure some would disagree, but I'm pretty technical. Actually wrote code before many here were born (COBOL). Lots of home automation in my house that I setup, even added the starting of the car from Google Assistant when that was posted.
After updating to the latest version of FordPass, I began.
On the car I deleted all PAAK. I deleted my phone from Sync. I deleted both connections on my phone. I rebooted the phone, and turned the car off and opened the door.
Added the phone to Sync, added PAAK, got prompted for entering a passcode, and then of course it couldn't find a phone when it came time to save. Tried another 3 or 4 iterations, then gave up.
Simply ridiculous. What a waste of 30 minutes.
