I had the wifi drop a couple days ago. Tried everything I could think of to get it to reconnect. I finally called ChargePoint. They said they were having server issues and to wait 24-48 hours and it should reconnect. It reconnected yesterday (less than 24 hours). Unfortunately the car charged to 100% overnight but that could also have been because of an update received last night. Charging settings in car still show 85% as the max charge. ?‍♀

FYI apparently a new Android app version 5.113.1 was just released in the Google Play Store to deal with network connectivity issues.

Yep, that's the update I got earlier today that fixed my issue. After work, I was able to remove it from the Chargepoint app and redo the setup specifying a 60A breaker. When I plugged in to the Lightning, the Chargepoint app showed 11.5 KW charging rate, so it was pulling 48A as expected.

This seems like the right thread to post my issue, and maybe a couple of the earlier comments have alluded to this same issue. I have a CP Home Flex, software version 5.5.2.15, installed on a 60A breaker. I’ve been getting fluctuating charging speeds/power every time I plug in for the past several weeks. (See representative graph below.) I’ve tried flipping the breaker and other suggested fixes to no avail. Is this problem going to be addressed in the software update ChargePoint is supposedly working on? I’ve been concerned this might be an MME issue rather than a CP issue. I’ve already put 33K+ miles on the car and I’m quickly approaching the end of my B2B warranty. Also, is there any connection between this issue and the HVBJB problem, and would a failure there be covered by the powertrain warranty if it happens after 36K miles? Thanks for any help you all can offer.

It’s not a ChargePoint issue. It’s a Ford issue:

Ah! Thank you. I guess I just didn’t search long enough to find the right thread. Nice to know I’m not alone.
Also that issue is probably covered under the 8yr/100k warranty.

Just talked to ChargePoint today as my unit was unable to connect to the wifi. After having done all their recommended steps (power cycle router etc), I noticed that the charger could not find ANY wifi networks at all. When I talked to the rep and told them that it wasn't finding any networks, they put me on hold. Long story short, they are sending me a new unit.

Thought I might freshen up this old post. Here it is Sept/2024 and my 6 month old ChargePoint is not connecting to Wi-Fi no matter what fix is tried. It will still charge MME but no app data function or utility company data feed. Glad to see some posters were able to reset by killing power method or perhaps via mysterious ChargePoint software update. If you are shopping for a home charger, I’d steer clear of the Home Flex.

My Wi-Fi died earlier this year too. Looked like right after a software update. Unit still works as a dumb-charger at 32A. Did not attempt resetting as I did not want to lose 32A setting by any chance. Next EVSE, if this one fails, will be a dumb charger.
