There's also a post about another way to do this without it being visible. Here's that link:

Instead of purchasing at Grainger you can always get this on amazon:

I have the RPM Tesla windnoise reduction kit now, I seem to get more wind noise from the driver's door top, at least that's what my ear is telling me. Is there no way to just run this foam all around the pano roof? Why do people only do the windshield gap (that's what I currently have)?

I do prefer the lower profile foam cord fix for the noise, but has anyone ever posted photos of the Ford fix? Since mine has the issue it's on my list of things to follow up on with the car before the end of the year.

It is basically the same as what Ben did in this video.

Okay, so it looks about the same as window seal across the top. I'll probably just try the foam rope or work something out myself. I guess I was hoping for something better and less obtrusive as an official correction. Any guesses if reinstalling the pano roof would correct the gap or is it created by variances in the frame/design? Just curious since the Tesla Y I looked at the other day had perfect transition between the roof and windshield (imagine that.)

How's it holding up? I did the Model 3 road noise kit but my GT PE definitely sounds way louder than my Premium. Really looking for a solution.
So far so good! The rubber has been a little beat up by bugs, rocks, weather, etc., but it's held in surprisingly well! Considering how cheap and easy to install it was, I can't imagine the Ford fix is that much better a solution. I'm currently out of town, but once I get back, I'll post some pictures.
