For those in Canada looking for steelies, here's the Costco link

https://www.c-wheels.ca/en/fitments...ke=Ford&model=Mustang+Mach-E&submodel=Premium

On a side not I just picked up a set of RTX Envy 19" with tpms sensors for 400$ used. I ordered a second set of sensors so now I have 3 sets. I'll probably use the new one and sell the ones that came with the wheels. Apparently they were on a Lincoln.

Maaayybe, but probably not. Looking at the clearances it looks like 18" is as low as Ford intended you to be able to go. If the owner was OK with you doing a quick test fit before purchasing then you could give it a try, but I think it is unlikely to work.

EDIT: For future readers I can confirm - there is no way a 17" wheel will fit. Even 18" is very close, and most, but probably not all, will fit.

Yeah I figured.
I found a set of 18” Ford Focus ST wheels.
They’re 18x8 with ET55 and of course 5x108

By the numbers, 99 would be just barely sufficient for the load of the car. However, most of us think that Ford chose a 103 XL (Extra Load) rating for a good reason, and have chosen to stick with that or better. So I'd say that it should work, but that personally I'd keep shopping.

Anyone have experience or advice when it comes to winter tires with a EV SUV?

Since I've been in Michigan I always get a second set of wheels and tires for winter.

Since I'm bored and think of stuff like this I've been looking at options and prices. I've been able to find 225/60 R18 Blizzak as one option.

Just curious if anyone has input on the general idea of winter tires on a EV SUV.

Blizzaks are great, but very pricey usually.....
I went with stock size for my Select stock wheels
Wintrac Pro - Size: 225/60R18
for $176 per tire... XL 104 load rated.... $50/tire less expensive than Blizzaks!

I just ordered winter tires during Costco Michelin sale that runs 8/30/21 to -about end of Sept. Discount is 75.00 off tires and free mounting, balancing and TPMS adjustment free, for another $80.00 off on 4 tires.. The tires I ordered- Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV Winter tread run flat are not cheap, but comes with a 30K milage warranty and Costco offers free 5 years road hazard. The Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV come as standard equipment on some high end sport cars. Also got Velox Wheels with all season finish rating to include snow- nothing cheap, but I like the Costco extras. Also Consumer Reports rated Costco as one of the best car tire dealers. A number of years ago I tried just 2 winter rear tires on a Datsun 350 Z car and in a curve on slush I hit a tree head on! I survived unhurt, but the car needed major treatment! Never drove a car in the past 30 years without 4 top rated snows. Costco includes 5 years free rotations, so each winter it is to be done free. I believe only Michelin has a tread life guarantee on winter tires. Because of the low profile on my two Audi's I have had tire damage from pot holes, so I ordered 18" 225/60,18 for my premium AWD winter tires. Now all I need is the Mach E I ordered in March to put on the new snows this November!
Do you have the $80 rebate info/site handy?
I too bought these tires, but from tire rack, during the $80 rebate and the form is missing from the tire rack website…

I got the form in the mail about two weeks after getting my tires, how long ago did you order? If it has been longer than that then you might just call their customer service line.

I just had the same fitted, though I went up one size to 235/60R18, about 1cm taller. They look great and are nice and beefy. Of course we are having an unseasonably hot fall - there still hasn't been a freeze yet (about a month late), but I'm ready when we do!

I did the same 225/60/18 but bought a set of 18" wheels to fit them. This will be my 3rd winter rocking the Wintracs most people don't know they are the top-rated performance wither tire by consumer reports.

Any issues with this? I'm thinking of grabbing the same.
