Route 1 mileage / range revealed on window sticker

All, my Route 1 went "to plant" yesterday, and today I have a window sticker. Of significant interest is that it doesn't say "do not ship", and it HAS the section on fuel economy and range (305mi) filled in. It not as good as I hoped the Aero wheels would give it, but that is probably due to Ford's conservative fudge factor on the dyno.

The more I think about it, the more the 305 mi range looks like a lowball value. The regular ER RWD has an MPGe of 97 and kwh/100 mi of 35. The Route 1's numbers are both 5% better (given they are rounded figures), so the range should be somewhere around 5% better too.

I'm unilaterally calling the range 315 miles. So let it be written, so let it be done

Interesting, fueleconomy.gov doesn't even list the Mustang as an option under Ford.

Interesting: My build week was 12/7, it has been "In Production" for quite some time and my window sticker still says "not for sale". Guess I have to wait for them to "re-print" it.

I'm good with 305 miles.

It has smaller diameter wheels (18" vs 19") with an aero cover. If you look at the tests done for the model 3 with similar differences, it comes out to about a 5% difference too

Yes, I've been wondering about that too. Maybe they didn't want to publish the numbers until the RT1 came in, so maybe they'll publish next week

Besides @timbop, 305 sounds like a freeway somewhere. 315 does not

Got my sticker today, a Select, complete with 230 mi. range......RWD, standard battery......for those in NJ, MME, still not listed as an eligible car.....I have emailed them several times, no answer!!!......oh, my build week is 12-15-20......shows "in production"

I wonder if a wheel swap on another model like a Premium/FE along with perhaps a quick computer setting change would at some point make sense? ? I know some folks didn't like the selection of options on the Rt. 1...

Updated the label fuel economy table to include the Rt 1.
Yes, probably wheels and tires. We will know more when we get road load and test mass info from EPA dyno test procedures.
